I'm a 17 year old girl and like I say I'm a Christian and stuff but then the next day I go right back to my old habits of cussing and rapping and like music is my life and I thought about writing worship songs etc and the other thing is I have friends that pressure me to listen to rap etc cuz it cool and stuff and I have tried to really Christian but it's hard and I'm having trouble finding who I am you know

@millycyrusrocks I went through the same thing. im a 19 year old guy and i accepted Christ at 18. When i did i had tons of friends keep trying to get me to cuss, fight, drink, pursue sex and stuff. The thing that helped me was realizing when i truly have Christ i dont need those things. But also, you need to be straight up with your friends. tell em that you want to be closer with Christ and to please respect that. True friend will understand that. But you also have to be ready

@millycyrusrocks to lose some friends. when i told my friends i wouldnt keep doing some of those things they turned on me. But you also have to understand that the ones who leave are not your true friends. Its the ones that stay who really matter. Everyone falls though. Thats part of who we are. when you do just go to God and ask forgiveness. Seek God with all your heart and he will answer. Good luck and ill be praying for you:)

I sit at a lunch table in high school and the only conversashions my friends have is about provertity and cussing, but i don't cuss, because I'm a christian, and I'm letting them be the influence, not me... Letting go of things can be very painful at the moment. I had someone that i held on so dear to my heart- because of that i couldnt experience Gods love for me. We are no longer together. It hurts so much but i just let go of it and let God work on things. When you let go of things of this world and whatever it has to offer you can fully esperience God more. I know in the long run God will reward me(us) if we just let go and give it all to God. God is in control. He will Never disappoint us. :)
