What I like in some of their most thrash songs like Master Of Puppets is the heavy riffing, the 3 minute interludes get quite boring IMO... Cut the interludes off and Master Of Puppets would be a 4 minute song ^^, rocking 4 minutes long. Instead of lasting 8 minutes with a loooong break right in the middle
