  • haha even got hit my an oncoming car!!! :D

  • Love seeing these things take a battering and never miss a beat!

  • allways tie a lanyard to it never trust the suction cup . i even drilled and counter sunk holes in the adhesive mounts and use small nut an bolts to mount it on my jetski and use a lanyard for back up

  • wow good durability test for the camera it's self tho!

  • Make your own safety lanyard!

  • survived falling off a motorcycle at highway speeds and being run over by a car.. I call this a WIN!

  • @shyyphotography They are shock proof, this thing could fall off of a plane and survive

  • hahah, at least you smiled for the camera when you went to pick it up

  • Good to know, you have saved me from the same mistake.

Was thinking about the topbox and a suction cup.

Maybe I'll just use that on windows and use adhesive mounts for everything else.

  • thanks that you shared it with us! you're very lucky that your camera was survived!!!!

  • fuckencameras a hk

  • Thanks for sharing, glad your camera was ok!!

  • Safety lines? We use them all the time with anything mounted on a hanglider as it is technically illegal to drop any thing from the air other than permitted ballast.

  • I have DRIFT HD170 and i dont trust my velcro adhesive clip on mount so im trying to fit a lanyard.

  • :/

  • would using a suction mount work on a bodyboard and surfboard?

  • the suction cup probably didn't fail you probably just failed at installing it

  • @TheDumbGrunt You probably failed to read the text at the end of the video.

  • Use a lanyard as a tether so if it falls off it just hangs. Cheers!

  • The white rubber insert will stop that clicking noise and cut the vibration of the camera out

  • shit..now i feel what its like to fall off the back of a bike first person view..SCARY!!

  • it comes with a white insert to prevent that movement

  • I think it passed the durability test lol

  • Ate shit really hard skiing and lost my GoPro in a foot and a half of fresh snow. Damn you sticky mounts! Guess I'll go look for it this summer ;(

  • @HueyNewtonsDream hahaha.i dont think ur gunna find it

  • that made a cool video!

  • What editing software did you use? I'm struggling with windows movie maker live.

  • thank god the other cars did not run it over. looks like it held up good! i love my gopro.

  • If you still want to mount the cup to whatever you had it on.. Just sand then wet sand and buff a spot on whatever it is (if you desire) then the cup will be able to maintain a good suction.

  • funny video mate, btw quality is really good, can't wait to buy one for my Rockster!

    cheers from Italy
