  • YES!!! ALL of this! I enjoyed ALL of this, especially watching the driver make those turns while grabbing the farebox bar!

  • @MetroLinerXLZ I know, I love that style turning, one hand on wheel, other hand on farebox/ or hand bar.

  • Nice vid!

    91 Flxible Metro with a 6L71TA and V731: watch?v=jwwn7B74pJA

  • can't say american buses are attractive lol

  • @lynxguy1 Most are :D

  • I wonder what happened to the CNG Flxible metro buses NG1-NG5 that New Jersey Had

  • The Last time I was with my friends NGV1-NVG5 was up in Double A in Connecicut.

  • wuts double a?

  • Double A is a bus line company they have it there and they also have a ex NJT flxible Metro C buses and here in jersey city at caven point there are lots of flixble metro buses

  • I hope some one has some pictures, videos and sounds recordings of NGV1-NGV5.

  • Man, I wish I can drive this bus......All I have are NABI's, MCI's, Nova's, and Metro B's. I always wanted to try a Metro D.

  • mines the same except we have metro D

  • #1752 is it for sale

  • no it belongs to the Broadway Bus line in Bayonne its used for path-mark routes

  • Are there any Cummins Powered FLxibles Remaining?

  • Tons... IIRC, most of them are remain in service for at least another year or two, depending on how fast the NABI transit order is delivered.

  • Are the 1988/1989 Flx Metros are gone already?

  • Just this past Thursday, I actually went to Greenville Garage in Jersey City on the 81L.

  • So both #1774 and 1775 are gone?

  • One fire that comes to mind was back in the the 1990s when the NJT Big Tree Garage caught fire and burned three Articulated buses, so the Broadway Fire wasn't as bad, but they had to retire the two buses that were burned #1774 and 1775 respectively.

  • what caused it did you see it is there a video

  • Nope, afraid not.

  • oh but wat caused it

  • Broadway Bus Garage once had a fire and therefore both buses #1774 & 1775 have been retired.

  • And why is Broadway Bus #1774 not used right now and could it be headed for retirement?

  • They took insurance off it.

  • So that means that #1774 may be retired?

  • I thought dude was about to steal the Flx as first lol nice vid

  • lol lol my aunt drives her bus just like that driver does one hand out on tha rail and tha otha on tha steering wheel

  • What happened to Bus #1775 and why is it retired?

  • They took the insurance off it. Boardway bus garage caught on fire and that when 1775 burned. My friends told me this.

  • The only New Jersey Transit Metro-D that has been retired thus far.

  • That's the bus that went on fire.

  • Hey! do you know what's the name of that model Air Conditioner on top of the Metro D Flxible.

  • They're made by Carrier I know that.

  • who owns that bus?

  • Boardway Bus in Jersey City, NJ

  • Broadway Bus is actually in Bayonne, NJ, not Jersey City.

  • Boardway Bus in Jersey City, NJ

  • Broadway not Boardway.

  • Yes Sir this bus is orginal seat and engine. This is the best 1994 Flxible Metro D I ever seen. The NJT one's are begininng to fall apart.

  • The seats haven't changed on this bus (#1752)for over a decade, but they still look like new and that Cummins engine is as smooth as silk.

  • Cummins C8.3 with ZF 5HP-590.
