While I agree that some of the 'tactics' did come off as a little bit crazy, how else was that guy supposed to make a statement? Ed Goeas was being an asshole.

That's correct, he was out of line. You are free to ask questions, but if they decide to press charges, they will find out what the law says about personal space and harassment, EVEN with the "Press Pass". That only allows you access, not forceable interrogation.
