  • Ofra Haza was fabulous, may she rest in peace. However, in singing this beautiful song in Ladino, she makes a couple of pronunciation mistakes: "amargastes" (should be "amargates", no s before t), and "buHkate" (should be "buSHkate.")

  • @Rachelucha11 You're right...I've noticed the same, though Ladino may change depending on the spoken areas (Grece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Morocco, etc)...my gandma came from Morocco and her ladino is a little bit different from other dialects I've heard...shalom...:-)
