Does the past suicides of gays that were bullied not bother you? Part of the reason they don't wan to is that religion says that gays are wrong, unnatural, and then the government has to make it worse by saying no marriage either. @westcoastlovely LMAO...So I will have her dye her hair the right color to meet and obey the qualifications and standards for us to get married not the other way around. Life isn't always fair. I wouldn't make a big fuss and whine about it like babies. And if "WE" truly were in love no law is going to stop me from loving her...married or not.

@MrDAWONE53 But dying her hair would make her VERY uncomfortable and unhappy. And besides, since she "chose" to have brown hair, she'd rather stand up and say "why the heck is this a law in the first place?"

@westcoastlovely Sometimes accepting ones mistakes or wrong doing is hard for us to accept. The first reaction we do is a selfish one,which is think only about our self and why it isn't fair. We are reluctant to see the bigger picture. We are lead by propaganda and the mediaWhen the argument about an issue abrupt we should consider both side. What are the intention and what are they trying to get.What will be the outcome.What will it lead to, of course we can't always foresee the future.

@westcoastlovely I don't mean you literally. People in general are selfish and think of them self first. The mistakes or the choices we make. We do them, but we don't want to accept the consequences. The point isn't if it hurts anybody or not but wether if they want to really be treated as equal than they need to follow and obey the qualification,laws and standards...like everybody else!!!

@westcoastlovely Look the fact of the matter is not that it will bring happiness or joy to ones life. Of course if you give in to anybodies demand their happy. Sometimes you need to be firm and say "NO". No matter how much crying and whining they do. Everyone is born equal, the choices you make are what makes you a little different every time.

Again, and I know you'll just brush this off because it's the only thing you can tell yourself so you don't have to admit you're a bigot, plenty of gays did NOT chose to be gay. I know SEVERAL that would love to be able to find the opposite sex attractive, but they can't no more than you or I can find the same sex attractive.

@MrDAWONE53 And no, not everyone is born equal. Tell that to those born with an extra chromosome (downs syndrome). Oh wait, I bet you think they chose that too. What makes us attracted to someone? A chemical reaction? What about women born with too much testosterone? Or men born with too much estrogen? Could that possibly throw off the balance? Who knows. I think even if there were scientific evidence, you'd still be against gay marriage. You're against people being happy.
