Aha!! This "sampling loop pedal thingy" If I'm not mistaken, at 4:50 you can see her laying out the bass line, and at 5:00 it continues via the "miracle of microchips" and she starts bowing the cello in accompaniment.....amazing! I'll watch for this in their other videos.

No, it's all using looping pedals. He plays it once, and it keeps going til he hits stop. Ditto the cello bass line.

Haha Justice is served on both counts.

Any distorted, looping cello that covers House of the Rising Sun gets my vote on taste alone, but the musicianship displayed by both players is masterful.
