@offroadingfreack97 well a 383 would be nice it would not be as nice and rare as this 305 V6. if you would of noticed it is not that crappy 305 v8 you know the one with the 3.736 bore with 8 pistons, this is the 305 V6 with the 4.25 bore and only 6 pistons
@offroadingfreack97 Why? So it can be like almost every other older chevy truck on the road. These truck engines are unique. not allot off people can say they have a big block V6! Every car show i go to, all the old trucks have smallblocks in them. Its nice to finally see something different. Before i put a 454 in my truck, it was the only one around with a built up 235 I-6 in it.
Best pickup motor along with the 300 ford. I have mine on its stand waiting for a rebuild, i dont care how long it takes, i will not dare get rid of that motor i have
It looks like GM cut their V12 in half and came up with this, or is it the other way around? Those valve covers look like they're off of one of those.

Had a 4 WD GMC w/305 v-6.......... UNSTOPPABLE these engines where so bad ass, they were put in corn pickers/ combines.... unreal torque.

i had an 1960 gmc pickup and i put over 800,000 miles on it that 305 v6 was an great motor.
