And he passed away as well? He wasn't so old was he?

@sprengers1 Roger served nearly 20 years as pianist for The Cathedrals. He was 48 years old when his long battle with leukemia came to an end. Thanks for your interest.

I had the opportunity to drive him from the airport to our church for a concert. He was a genuinely sweet person and very gifted.

What a fitting tribute to the late Roger Bennett. He (and Anthony Burger) are so very much missed in the Gospel music community and by the friends and fans who loved them both.
