I thought it would have been more logical for Bam Bam to go over because he was the latest sensation at the time in WWF.Then again,Andre was still the top heel chasing Hogan for the title.
only Andre can add more moves as his career closes..
the man was in terrible pain and knew he was done..but went 3more years and kept adding new moves! my knees really hurt and my back is breaking...i'm going to suplex bam bam!
I liked Hogan as a kid but honestly, why would he come back to the ring like that at the end? Jesse is right, Hogan really was not the best role model for children....but better living back then than now...lol
@dutchgerald Hogan unfortunately has turned into a miserable person who has completely trashed any legacy he might have had. Now, as far as these sick allegations his ex-whore-er ex-wife is making about he and Brutus Beefcake-well, she is a bitter 50 year old who got dumped by a 21 year old and know it's payback time
This was unbelievable at the time, watching Hogan get dumped from the ring. I remember seeing highlights for weeks back in late 1987 with Andre doing that butterfly suplex on Bam Bam and getting the win. I was just so stunned as a kid because I honestly felt Hogan would've ran through this match alone.
If you watch this match from the beginning you will notice that Andre The Giant participates very little in the match. Unfortunately, by this point in his career he was in very poor health. He managed to keep wrestling for three more years after this (through harsh pain) and he deserves a lot of credit for that.
