If I don't have the original keys what are my options, trying to fix a broken box for a friend with the status code xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-c000-0034. The drive is bricked and the fucktard who improperly flash his drive never saved the key.

@casualtybeats I would recommend you get a connectivity kit, via card, and hook it up to your computer and then you can figure out more or less what firmware is on the drive.

i have flashed a benq succesfully, but its origanal console broke my other consoles drive is a lite-on but it is bricked is it possible to use the benq in my second console?

damned brick... so annoying because i couldnt even get it to hack my drive i knew how to do it but it didnt work :-/ so then i played around with spoofing and it poofed my drive!! :!

legend! you helped me sort my bricked benq drive, the only other info i needed was the bit about disabling my via raid controller, deleting the driver for via sata card from system32 folder and then re-enabling the raid controller with no driver to stop jungleflasher crasing my PC (which was what originally bricked my drive! lol). Luckily I had stored the original firmware before it bricked, so I could fix it with your excellent guide.

i have a friend that tried to hack my lite on, he usually does them for me but this time for some reason he couldnt erase the lite on drive thingy to flash it i guess. so he didnt hack it but when i went home to go play normal games, i turn the xbox on but no image. the middle thing in the power button just keep blinking and after leaving it, it shows 1 red ring.... wat is the problem is it bricked, and how can i fix it any ideas. plz help me.

Yes, always save it you never know when you might need it trust me this is a must. I've had friends in different states ask me for their original firmware a year later. SAVE IT!!

@mwest23 dude have a question when you put the 360 game in before you did the fw erase you leave the disk with drive fully closed or did you go into mode b?

You would treat the drive as if your doing an upgrade and not a new install. You click on the DVDkey 32 tab and then click on get dummy from ixtreme and then you continue the process from there as normal.
