You gotta find god by tracing the kind of dicipline you see in this world. Tell me what is the chance of a book coming out of a blind-born person who does not know how to type? THe chance is equal to that of the dicipline and complexity in this world coming out of a mere accident without an inteligence.

thats the point though, he can't be found in this material world, so why would you beleive he exists? Thats the point! Anything beyond this material world we cannot know, it is therefore a leap of faith to make that claim, we are just asking that its backed up by something reasonable, otherwise any crackhead can make any claim and its "true" unless it can be proven false.

It would be very simple for e.g. a Christian to prove that there is no more than one god. They do not, as a posed to atheists, have to look everywhere. They have a supernatural help for that: the god they believe in.
That god says: there is no god other than me. And He can know, because He is considered to be all-knowing an not-lying.

Thats not proof, its a beleif though. They are basing their proof on the beleif that their god exists. If you take a text that says something is true and truth, why not just write down on a napkin: Zues is real. There BAM, proof! Zues exists! because the napkin shows us that Zues exists!

God is beyond anything we know...and god is formless....as the truth is formless and is in the purest form..we can reach to god through meditation, iiner self and doing good deeds, and being good humans..

Umm what you said does not make sense. You say god is "everything" and right after you say jesus was one with god. But if god was everything, that would mean we are all parts of him. If you believe god is everything, that would mean he is not perfect due to there being evil. There would not be natural evil. Also if everythings gods will, that mean it was gods will for someone to rape a chic, or a murderer to kill someone. Right?

Exactly what evidence would be sufficient to prove that He does exist?I believe that Jesus & His apostles etc tried to show this to everyone they met and even then all of them didn't believe-spiritual blindness.Even if God himself came down pointing to u with His giant finger, you would prob try to rationalise it as a mental disorder of sorts. Wat wud be the proof that you need?Possibly an outline of the best way to live life and the formula for peace?Prophesy?The bible has the answers me thinks

well, we have the Bible for christians and Jews. And the muslims have the Karan. Both books are filled with evidence for the existince of God. I think we should inspect both books... find out which is most reliable and then choose whether or not the evidence is sufficient

So you are saying that only of those 3, can be chosen? What about all the other religions, are you saying they do not matter? Their scrolls, their stories all should be debunked. Also it is much more difficult then you realize, the religions are all on different levels, to the point where god himself is totally different.

The only way to prove such a thing is to go back in time. And yet that probably won't happen in our time, perhaps never. And so, we can't prove it. No evidence, no God. And how are we to see a God through others eyes? Eyes that have been proven differrent? Eyes impure cannot see as we do. And again, how do we Know this was not a scheme schemed by the fools of or past? Four men, close friends, could easily of made a long book amongst themselves, right?

Try finding how the bibles were really made. And how stories were chosen to be put into it and some were left out. If the bible was the word of god, then why would there be a need to leave parts out. Numerous stories were put together, and they were voted to which should and should not be included.

You usually can prove God does not exist once you force the godders to define what they mean by "god". Sooner of later, a non-resolvable contradiction comes up. At that point the godders' case is doomed, and their "god" ceases to exist.

What if god existed for a moment, exploded into the universe, our will ended up being expressed in higher animals, capable of self awareness. The entire universe wants to know why it is here, and humans have been given the task, of figuring it out by having the deepest experience possible

I see your point and maybe the frustration in what "quinndexter" said but, the system of religion is ment to controll people but not necessarily in the manner that "quinndexter" is implying.After the death of jesus his desciples and other followers began spreading his word
but many people had different views on what christ was about so many christian leaders
got together and set up a system in which things would be carried out so to keep peice amongst people.

some believe that when something bad happens and they ask God to help them that God has to do it Now and in the way that you want it to
Although those children died that doesn't mean God didn't hear or answer the praying and wailing parents
