As it turns out, this loss was good for Justine. She returned to the tour and didn't lose all year!! A strange performance from her, look at the 6-0, 6-0 thrashing she gave Bartoli at the YEC.
Kinda sad to see her lose in the first round of the aussie open...But that court was to slow and it helped out the game of ivanovic and sharapova. Where they anticipate a return
shot so they can run down the ball...besides
a softer ball on a slower court will affect the game ....I saw it for my own eyes so I know those commentators know nothing other then to diss a tennis player...
no one can come close to Monica Seles. when monica was number one with per pinpoint laser shot groundstokes and angled shots, she was unbeatable and her movement around the court was impressive and then she got stabbed and Steffi won everything. at least monica is not bitter about it, she plans to come back to the game in march 2008 from an injury that has kept her out of the game for over 4 years

Watch the angles that Bartoli hits in this brief clip. Henin wasn't able to tell where Bartoli was going to go with the ball, and that caused her frustration. Henin's many errors were because she didn't know what to do after Bartoli started to roll (pun intended).
especially @ 0:21. i agree when the commentator says "c'est parfait!" on bartoli's winner ^_^ . also note henin's backhand error @ 0:55. it's too much for her to handle ^_^

Marion did a perfect job this Wimbledon, I follow her career since 2002. And I really didn't expect this performance. Two semi finals at Birmingham and Eastboarne. I thought that was amazing, but her Wimbledon performance blew me away.
