As good at route improvisation as someone like Sebastien is, a VERY experienced combat agent would be far quicker at exit analysis and prediction of a pursuit than a recreational athlete like Sebastien.

If he didn't get away really quickly, he'd make a mistake that left Bond waiting for him. Where Sebastien will run up a wall and over the roof, Bond will bust a door and be waiting for him on the other side.
