Thanks. I just gently put a finger on each side of his mouth, so he figures it's too wide to fit in his mouth and let go. It's an ornate pacman.

What temps is he kept in? If kept warm and humid, they should eat year round.

he's kept around 80F , very humid it isn't common they go into their dormency stage, but mine seems to. It'll eat the crickets, but doesn't want to go for the mice

Hmm. Well the mice are not essential to their diet, so as long as he is still getting food, he should be fine.
