He used to drive me nuts when he was with the Pistons. He just sapped the Bulls. When he ended up on the Bulls, it was like the Avengers. One of the few who could even stop the Bulls was now one of them. It was pure fantasy come true. Rodman being a loose cannon for everyone else could only have respect for Jordan. You could see Rodman take it seriously knowing he played with the best and he played at the same level doing what he did best.

I was a streaky shooter that would start throwing bricks at any given moment, but I always played bigger than I was and was also a rebounding fool and was a defensive nuisance. My brother was 4 inches taller which helps to explain it. So Rodman was a special inspiration for me. I remember getting 8 rebounds in a row once and hearing "damn that guy".

They have great players when it comes to scoring but you don´t score so many points that you need all those guys. I agree with you that the Bulls 96 to 98 were a semi-dream team. registering 72, 69 , 60(with pippen out for 35 games and some rodman suspensions) wins. Basketball is a 5 player game. Greatness of a player is measured on how the people around him would respond. I've seen super teams assembled after that but no team can win 72. Why? take David Robinson i.e. couldn't earn rodman's respect. Jordan is so great.
