Amazing movie!

This movie completely reveals what it's like to be bullied in school. If a victim of bullying doesn't want to kill themself, then they want to kill those who bully them. And there's no safe haven. School is supposed to be safe, but it's not. Nor are the streets, because you could run into the bully there... and at home? you think about all the pain and suffering you've been forced to endure. And you think about what could happen tomorrow. There's no escape.

I think that creating drama with extremely dramatic music is just a bit "cheap" and unimaginative way of creating it, and usually not as emotianally effective as something else could be. Yes, it kinda does make it look more hollywoodesque, but what's the big deal? i loved the movie and decided to do something: i tried to capture the interior rage of the characters and transmit it through the music... i belive, as many others - look at comments - that it worked...

This movie is truly an exceptional movie. It allows its viewers to have a great depiction of how tough and cruel high school can truly be. it shows us that violence in our schools does in fact run rampet yet so few have the ability to see it. all too many people choose to pretend it doesn't exist.Unfortunetly it is only after tradgedy that most choose to react, however by then it's to late. It takes events like these to shock the masses back into sobriety, unfortunelty people always forget

One of the best movies I have ever seen. I love it. Ben Foster is of course, amazing and a perfect candidate for the role in which he played.

This is actually based off of a play a real highschool was doing, it is not based off any school shooting. It is based on school violence in general. The play is awesome also, they had an HBO special on this movie, and at the end they showed a video of the real highschoolers performing the play, just like they did in the movie.
