I don't use denjin hadouken, but could you have won the first match if you used denjin @ 1:06 after the anti air fireball, perhaps you would still be in recovery. Also I'm convinced Voltan doesn't know what he's talking about. You played well, and Adon is not an easy match.

MirrorR is good player in Taiwan! But the most updated videos he got is 9 months old. The strats are very different now. Voltan wants me to watch his videos and I did, but I did not learn as much if Voltan can specifically point out which area should I improve. I welcome all kinds of comments as usual ~ btw, I never said i am top player, but I am quite active and post videos every now and then.

@Voltan ... what is that supposed to mean?? i'm just curious......because ViperRx has one of the best Goukens out there, without a doubt, he posts a lot of videos of himself losing so he can improve his game and for people to help him improve....but i've seen A LOT of his matches where he wins, his Gouken is amazing. :-)

MirrorR has been playing with makoto for a while now, but anyways, ViperRX never claimed to be THE top gouken player out there. so i just didn't see the point your original comment....he is one of the top Gouken players though, look at his Player Points and Battle Points, he accomplished that going up against top Japanese competition, look at the very Adon in this vid, he has 4900 PP!!! .... nobody says on my match videos, go look at Tokido, then go look at mine.

you're a moron, mirror doesn't even play gouken anymore. Viper has a solid gouken, and if you're going to point out top gouken players you'd looks less like an ass if you can actually name a player.....like Desora. Gouken is widely regarded as a bad character and as such you don't have any top players playing him so it's appreciated when guys like Viper post these kind of vids for constructive criticism and appreciative comments.

no such thing as a bad character lol.....shows how much you know. How do you think tiers work? Are you saying that Gouken is equally as good as ryu? You're wrong and the fact that very few people use him is proof of that. Many people don't use Gouken when there are better alternatives, characters with links, characters with (good)reversals, character with safe movesetc. For the record I don't think Gouken is a terrible character, he's not as competitive as ryu ken or akuma though.

yea I saw it...LIVE. You do realize that you have to take matchups into account right? You do realize that tiers also change right? Especially seeing as this game AND Adon are relatively new. you can't say the same for Gouken, And you mentioning Adon further proves my point. Gouken hasn't even made it out of EVO pools, whereas Adon after ONLY a few months which is a testament to 1Adon being good or 2wong not knowing the matchup, neither disproving my point.

@imm0rt4l Gouken isn't played often because he's somewhat difficult to use, doesn't mean he's a bad character. If a person were to work hard enough, they COULD make a competitive Gouken.

man you're dense....It's also possible to beat every character in the game with using only standing roundhouse with any character, doesn't make it any less of an uphill battle, which is exactly my point. And becoming better with said character doesn't make them more competitive it's knowing your character inside and out. Now what was the point of your trolling vipers vid?

Also, instead of going for the jumping m.p into the potential reset after the backgrab you should just start going with the heavy hurricane kick, as it guarantees you damage instead of going with the more risky option. Also, I'm thinking about picking up an arcade stick sometime, which one do you use?

You can combo those mid air hadoukens into the palm, the timing isnt really hard, you just need to get down the reactions to do it. I recommend it as it does a lot of damage and will make your opponent think twice about jumping.
