If people REALLY want to be "green", sealing and insulating a home is far and away the most effective way and I agree that given the low cost of radiant barriers like this product, the payoff is well worth the expense. I do worry though that as homes become hermetically sealed, air quality declines and I think there exists a big need for cheaper air-to-air heat exchangers to deal with this issue.
