You guys are awesome for not only knowing this song but playing it as well. Most kids don't even have a clue of what real music is. As well as King of The World is a very underrated and unknown SD song and yet probably my personal favorites. SD is underrated in their own rights. Kudos to you guys for being true musicians that have good taste and are not shallow and superficial like so many in our current day mainstream crap society! Thank you!
So nice that these young kids are discovering one of Steely Dan's lesser known songs... "King of the World" has always been one of my personal favs... Great job kids! Keep it up! More videos!
Great tune to tackle. Bass player is solid... starts at right tempo, then for some reason when vocals begin it's off to the races from drummer... but you all manage to hold it together and bass and guitarist are very solid and smooth. Great job!~
GREAT JOB!!!!! I would love to hear you all perform Brotha Louie from the Stories! and to the bass chick please dont be afraid to go to town hun, please listen to GEEZER BUTLER of Black Sabbath and run that mutha!!!!!!!!!!
Without a doubt one of the top tunes ever recorded by Becker and Fagen. The writing musically and lyrically on "Countdown to Ecstasy" is outstanding and it may very well be their best album. Congrats to all performers here - might be fun to see the "School of Rock" include a tune like "Razor Boy" and "Show Biz Kids" into their repertoire as well. Songs from other albums like "Caves of Altamira" and "Dadd Don't Live in that NYC No More" as well as "Home at Last" are also gems. Continued luck!
haha you kids ROCK. hate to critique, but it was funny how you started at the right tempo or so, then as soon as it started rockin you went wild punk fast!
BRAVO on one of my very favorite songs, steely dan or otherwise, of all time... just wish someone would try that oh so catchy and memorable outro a la denny dias.. congrats and keep up the great work!
Very well done guys, any group that has a go at a Steely Dan song is MIGHTY FINE by me.....great job;-)

The group is tight, but unfortunately the girl kills it with the voice and off key singing. Should have had someone else on that. Kudos to the group!
