During our remembrance day ceremony at my school, they played this song with a video about the many students from my school who went to war over seas, and never came home. I swear that there was not one dry eye in that gymnasium that day. Even now whenever I listen to this song I tear up. It's beautiful, and makes me think of the men and women who died serving our country. R.I.P to the men and women who have died in war. We will never forget the sacrifices you made so that we could live free.
medal of honour made some awesome games but this last one was the most realistic world war 2 game i have ever played, the way ur screen flashes when ya get hit by someone epic as, u find urself swinging for ur life, so realistic, coz a real soldier wouldnt stop and pause b4 hitting again, and the battlefeild is so realistic and u land anywhere in this game, i mean what more can u want, more levels in this game thats what, this is one of the best ps3 games ever made to me thats for sure :)
@Shamess48 Go to Afghanistan then call this realistic. This is a game, it'll never be like the real thing, unless you actually can feel the pain of every step with 40kg of equipment, the ear shattering sound of a large caliber gun going off in a room that can easily cause you to go into shock, the shock wave of a large explosion off nearly half a mile, and can die in the process of getting shot while playing it. Then you've gotten a little "realistic." Don't bring reality to games.
@Shamess48 I can understand that, however it's because of statements like that, it give poor face to the game industry, and even more so, to the people who have sacrificed themselves for us. I'm a gamer, but I'll always respect those who've died before I give the term "realism" to a game.
@bakathirteen mate listen here, i respect the ppl who have served and died, i was thinking about joining the army, anyway yeah its good to see u respect them that much to have a go at me haha
With COD's graphics and the effects plus medal of honor's storyline and the music and the weapon sounds(I tell ya, they are superb compared to the COD weapon sounds), all these will make one hell of a game. I swear, Im gonna be the first person to buy that game.
@tornadodude1609 nope, Cod graphics? C'mon they suck and maybe the effects but not like the new black ops its like explosion after explosion it rly gets boring.. tho if u take graphics from killzone + mohs storyline and gameplay + battlefields acces to helicpters tanks and the destruction now that would be an awsome game (and no effing killstreaks for the multiplayer)
@1799luis NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man, I feel sorry for that guy. He was a good soldier, prideful, courageous and honorable. But yet, hes still an assh... nah, just saying.
This song marked the end of a era... people by then thought WWII was old and began playing "modern" games.... if only we could go back to simpler times... when a game was not judged by it's graphics but by it's story.... if we did that I think this game would've won Game of the year...
this song is just a piece of history. In h darkest hours of humanity, brave men shed they;e blood and sacrificed they're lives so we now can enjoy masterpieces like this. Never forget the road to the present is guarded by the ghosts of our forefathers, who layed they're lives for us, all. R.I.P., all the soldiers, wherever you may lie. And grats for EA and Steven Spielberg for making us remember.
Well, EA just released an exclusive trailer, it has music. But, I'm not so sure it's Mike's new score. I guess we'll be forced to wait and see who'll be scoring the new game.
A damn good end of the WW2 games. After what i know. this is the Last ww2 Medal of honor game. A DAMN SHAME! this song is emotional and sad. i listen to it all the time. it gives me a bit sad feeling:/ but still i love this song!
