Also, their range of movement is either "quick lunge away," or "quick lunge back." No real evasiveness in that stance. If Billy weren't in a similar stance, he'd have been more apt to defend.

It was a good punch but Anne's opponent lifted her head as if to get up. Compare that to a more "ultimate" knockout, if that is the game, where the opponent has a seizure instead and can't raise his head to get up. Search under "ugly knockout" on YouTube to see it.

Going forward would be better...he can simply push into the guy before the kick gains full momentum and probably get him on the floor even with a light strike. It's easier to attack an incoming strike than dodge or block it.
