  • this is not a tyler perry movie, this is by Lamar Tyler

  • I have not seen this video but I plan on seeing it in the near future. It says it came out in April 2011 and I just wonder why everything else full of drama goes to the movie theater but this is straight to DVD? Not even a commercial or advertising in mainstream media to let you know this is available!

  • 73% bastard rate. Very few BM are doing the right thing and it's damn well about time that a few are doing the right thing.

Look around. Stop blaming women when men chose to check out.

BLACK MEN NEED TO MENTOR OTHER BLACK MEN

  • @DeeDeeTV Women need to start wanting real men and stop chasing bad boys as well. Its both sides. That whole "I can do it without a man" CRAP. Yeah u can do it without a clown of a man but not a real man. U say we need to do this but Black women need to raise these black women BETTER as well.

  • @mistanderson Sorry. Not enough "good" BM out there for us to choose from which is why sistahs need to date out, as BM have done and continue to do in high numbers. BLACK MEN NEED TO FATHER THEIR CHILDREN LIKE THE OTHER RACES OF MEN

  • @DeeDeeTV U need a wake up call and realize that other race have the exact same problem. They just don't go out to the work and put it on blast. There are some asians, latinas, and white men who dont take care of their kids. The only thing u jus hear about is just blacks. U forgot that some fathers are either dead or in jail too. Maybe its time for some black women to stop pick bad MEN PERIOD. Black men are being fathers u just don't hear about it because u continue to be negative like evrybody

  • that last statement is trully sad indeed mothers read proverbs 31 fathers come home we need you -despite the wondrful men and their testimonioes in this video...there are far too many who simply fail to be fathers to their children.

  • HUGE !!!!

  • Got damn Tyler always spot on. Tyler Perry is definitely Mr. Black America!

Dude has become just as influential, if not more than Obama for our community specifically.

  • @TezukaKohei Its not TP's film its another Tyler.

  • IM ABOUT TO ORDER MY COPY NOW THIS IS GREAT AND NEED TO BE HEARD

  • Hahahaha! What the last woman says is both funny and tragic at the same time. Now THAT is what is, at the core, wrong with African American's family structure. Countless black women are raising their daughters like that - telling them not to get married to be able to collect child support.

    The feminist movement anyone?

So, to be honest, and politically incorrect, black women - raising daughters like that - are guiltier when it comes to the destruction of the black family THAN black men.

  • @leston4life bingoooooo

  • @ matnicaj1: the "child support" that most men pay is not enough to support a child. I have no children, but I know plenty who do and receive child support. EXS: $48/wk does nothing for a 5 year old; neither does $250/mth for a 14 year old. Welfare usually isn't enough alone, but is removed when you make too much from a job which typically is also not enough alone. So women's so-called benefits, according to you, are not. They continue to struggle despite receiving so-called "support."

  • is the man that didn't get a college education still considered a man? is the man that goes from job to job just to try and survive, is he a man? If he's not a suit and tie guy, is he a man? What if he grew up in the hood, worked to make it, married and supported his family and then have it all taken from him after a divorce...loves and sees his children when mommy allows him to...but can't make them child suppport payments...is he a man?

  • the child support system is soooooo relentlous with men. the whole system is built to take money from a man's pocket however, whenever, no matter what despite his love for his children....is the government putting this money in a trust fund for these children instead? Women have all the benefits and resources at their fingertips and are never turned away when help his needed...but if you have a strugglin' black man with children no one gives a hoot!

  • I'm looking at these comments and I can't help but to think "oh lord here we go,give some stupid ass black boys a reason to point the finger at black women, don't forget y'all was raised by a black woman, the black women had to hold up the black men for years and to hear stupid shit like wicked black women I'm like omg there are still ignorance in this world this movie targets stereotypes rather than bashing the black woman so maybe some of these boys would watch this movie and maybe learn somet

  • @teddygirl1987 Defensive arent we? This video is not about bashing women. Its about teaching women. Alot of women have been LIED to by women and men. there's a difference between raising a child and keeping a child. Raising is teaching the goods and bads. Some women teach the bad. "U just like ur daddy", "Don't be like ur daddy" Even if the daddy is not a bad person. So long men been getting BASHED and nobody no women said "Okay ladies, lets stop this because we have problems too"

  • @teddygirl1987 We all know alot of women are not like that. Now u do have women who are disrespectful as well as men. Both need to be in check. This is not just about women its about men too. Because you have positive brothers saying positive things. Like the young dude say who take care of his kids. Many women complain about "cant find a good black man" when they are under their noses but they never look down. U want a man but don't want him to be a man he was taught to be.

  • @mistanderson I actually think this is gonna be a great movie but I just wish that all of us can stop bashing each other and try to understand that there are good black women and good black men in the world

  • @teddygirl1987 Oh i believe that their are more good black men and women. We just gotta support the positives of it and not the negative.

  • @teddygirl1987 this documentary has the full support of many prominent black women in our community.

  • now I bet you can tell that the wicked black women will protest this movie

  • preordered and looking forward to watching.

  • If you are confusing respecting a women with "kissing her ass" that's a sad assumption. The point is to show respect to get respect--simple enough--. That means SETTING THE EXAMPLE. This should also be the same for the women. When the children grow up in a stable household full of respect they grow up a lot better and ending the cycle. To be a man is to sacrifice for the greater good not be selfish. Every culture survives through the women. And the children will follow.

  • When this movie hits the mainstream then the wicked black women will make sure that nobody watches it

  • Hope every home gets a copy.

  • @Troo44 contin

We lost the war, now prepare to die off. Black Men, you waited for so long, not wanting to fight, just like the Pussies you are portrayed to be! Now you see what you ask for you Pussy Males!! 60 damn years. Here we are Black People. What a Wonderful thing we have done right?!! Black People your time for judgment has come. You were once the Chosen, but now you will burn in the Empire a long with the rest of the evils.

  • @Troo44 Cant blame just black men for the all of that. Lets not forget about black women bashing down black men and black men not wanting to fight against their black women. Its half and half. Yeah I believe that black men waited to long to say Sistas shut the hell up and listen and take the home back. We did had some men that sour down, but you do had some sistas who at fault in souring the men down as well.

  • DAYUM the ending hit me hard!!!

    Ok WTF!!?

That part just sent my head spinning.

Is this the future of Black America?

WOW WOW and more WoW. that it for us.This 1 Video isnt going to change Black America. Most of the people that the message needs to get to,WONT EVEN WATCH IT/ DONT KNOW THIS SEGMENT EXIST!

Now what? What We do now?

Ok Black Man, you waited too long. Time is up. You Lost Black Man!!!, Look at the Future!! ITS BEYOND CHANGE,,,,BLACK MAN!!!WE SHOULD HAVE FOUGHT WHEN THE TIME CAME

  • Are you still the man... very good stuff. Looking forward to it.

  • 2:50-3:25 EXACTLY sums up why I ALWAYS say if I wanted to, RIGHT NOW, I can get a sista to have my baby. The child support thing, exactly!!! I've been a teacher for almost 10 years now and make halfway decent money. To a LOT of sistas, I would be nothing more than a child support check.

Our young brothas NEED to watch this when this comes out....

  • @autismpete You right but to be honest now and day some of them will look at you and be like "TEACHER? Teachers don't make alot. I need a man with six figures at least." She doesnt have to be ghetto either. It could be a woman with all the education in the world and they be like "I have my standards"

  • @mistanderson Thanks for responding, bruh!

I'm in Detroit. I make mid-five figures. Believe me, if I was in THAT frame of mind, and not the happily-married brotha I am today, I could get a sista pregnant right now. Just for that child support check. Free money. The mindset of a LOT of women here is that "He ain't gotta do for the kid, as long as that check comes, I'm good."

I'm not the handsomest brotha, not Trey Songz by a LONG shot lol... but real talk thats how it is here...

  • @autismpete I dont thnk wmen of 2day kno wht a good man is and will do to keep his family good. My paps work crazy hard to put 5 kids in college, he strive hard for the best for us. Born in the country first man around to get a computer and internet in the area. He dont make crazy money, just work mad overtime whn he could, double shifts moved to a suburbean area. My mom supported him and work hard as well. Dats a Man and these chicks today dont know how to be wife/mother/person

  • there are real faithful men out here, i was on worldstarhiphop they got these videos of these girl on the phone her man while she with another man 1 was having sex and 1 was givin him oral pleasure and said she dnt trust him and im thinking to myself life are they serious

  • <3 this!!!

  • About damn time someone takes the time to voice us real black men. Thumbs up Tyler New Media.

  • "If your line of thinking has only gotten you a career, a home, and some Jimmy Choos, but not a husband. You might want to re-think what you have been thinking. After all insanity is doing the same thing over and over, but expecting different results."

  • How do we pre-order?

  • @Snowgoon901 Although I 100 percent agree we should stick to the role of "respecting our women"

  • @blueiguy1 I think we need to show more respect towards our children. They are the future, and kissing a woman's ass is not going to mean better lives for them. Women are grown ass adults. They can eventually find their way if they want to, but the children are depending on us to guide them in the right way. Let's start there and we won't have to be concerned about the women, because the girls who will become future women will have a more positive outlook, because we helped to provide it.

  • The end had my jaw on the floor. I can only imagine where that girl got her information.

  • @johnny718bravo To be honest it didn't had my jaw to the floor because if you look around and pay attention females are more into getting the man money and thats it. If all those cornballs mothers wouldve had millions they wouldnt give a damn about a father being in the house. All they want is money. Real women don't care about that. Yeah put some money up to support the child too but being there is all real women want.

  • man this looks like just what the doctor ordered, getting sick and tired of people(especially black women) throwing our(real men) names in the mud.

  • @DNYCEisBackagain exactly i agree 100%. Every Tyler Perry movie especially for colored girls portrays the black man as a monster. This movie will show what a real black man in America is.

  • @baaoor man I've been telling people the same exact thing about Tyler Perry, and his vendetta against black males, with for colored girls being the absolute worst portrayal yet, (regardless of it being base off a book) I feel he could have chose to adapt a book that shows the black male/black families in a better light.

  • @DNYCEisBackagain I feel half and half on the TP thing. ............. Its all about the person too. Yeah we all know majority of women gonna think Hey all those men are dogs and no good when they see the film and not think that hey we do some fucked up shit. Its been going on for like 20+ years. And no one had the balls to say hey women y'all do some dirty ass shit too because they feel like "I don't wanna hurt their feelings." To me I don't hold back, I let them have it, I tell them the truth.

  • This needs to be a hit. Its bad that too many positive black ppl are getting kick to the ground. Alot of black men have been getting kick to the ground. Some feel like they are 6 feet under and nobody want to help him up, unless they have a 6 figure job.

  • "If I'm married to him U can't collect child support." The next question is where are the women, and in their absence who is raising the children. So sad.

  • We need these positive representations of black men....Thank You Tyler New Media for doing a phenomenal job at creating a timely and relevant film that lifts up the dedicated fathers, hardworking and faithful husbands, and devoted community activist. - Ayize

  • This is real life and many people often do not hear our side of the story...Can not wait to see it! Powerful!

  • Wow! Anxiously awaiting the release!
