@JAKKU94 Come on, man. Not liking the music is one thing, but I'm dying to know what you think constitutes 'selling out' as opposed to 'not selling out'. I respect Dave and his life far more than I do Kurt, which is sad considering how much of a creative genius Kurt is and Dave isn't.

Also, this song is genius. Everytime I re-visit Pete, I'm blown away by different songs every time. I gave Tomblands a good listen the other day and it felt new again, fucking tops.

Sure, Nirvana is leagues ahead of anything else Dave has done, but I can't deny Dave has a genuine interest in what he's doing (the process, not the money) and happens to be doing something more accessible than Nirvana. As far as being human beings, Kurt is more 'interesting' from a distance, but saying he's a virtuous, venerable dude is suspending reality a bit..

(Foo Fighters don't stimulate me at all the same way Nirvana or Pete Doherty would; but again, I think you're over-romanticizing them as people. Kurt himself wanted to write Beatles-esque 'pop songs' in the midst of a grunge movement, he's said so himself. Dave Grohl is just less interesting period
