Yikes! you obviously love your dog and he loves you too, I was worried for a while there but I have friends with a dog who used to growl and bare his teeth while his belly was being rubbed... but yet if my friend stopped, Jessie would go: ".. no no no don't stop... but watch it I'll eat you any second now... watch yourself!!!
LOL! If you only knew him! Hes just really vocal-growls when he plays (perhaps a Ridgeback trait since bred to hunt lions in Africa). He's done this since adopting him at 4mos. Now hes completely spoiled/loved, well behaved, loyal and friendly. This is a weird quirk and also howls when I sing "Who Let the Dogs Out". He's the smartest and most sensitive dog and all who meet him are amazed the king of the 'hood. So don't worry-he is so loved-just has a funny way of expressing himself :-)
