Hari Om and Pranams! I do not claim to be from the Sri Vaishnava Sampradaya despite me having been greatly influenced by them for many years. I studied Vedas and pujas with them, but like I said am not a strict Sri Vaishnav.
Pancharmit means the five nectars which represent the five elements and the five sense all are symbolically offered here as the panchamritams: Milk, Yoghurt, Ghee, Honey, and Sugar.
there is an abishekam tray which Shaligram Bhagavan is sitting on made of copper, it is round and forms a spout which drains to a bucket underneath it.
