please aswear my question... g25 turn 900°... but in dirt 2 the cars seens to turn unly 180°... 90° for each side. So what i whant to know is if the steering wheel lock when u turn 90°??

Hi, I believe you probably have the box checked in the G25 properties that says "let game control settings" or something like that. Try unchecking it and settings the wheel lock to what you want it to be in the control panel. I set the wheel to 270 degrees and it feels pretty good. I hope that helps, let me know.

I just got my TrackIR5 (as you can see in my videos) and I'm loving the immersion factor that it gives. I thought the windshield splashes were hardcore enough, but the TrackIR5 IS SIMPLY AN AMAZING ADDITION!

Can I ask what version of FRAPS did you use? I'm having a hard time recording anything over 1280x720 on my card. If I go up one resolution, it would stutter violently.

Disregard the haters man. Manual/ Sequential/Auto.....if you're having fun, that's all that counts.

This game really is great with TrackIR, brings it to a whole new level of immersion. I tried a few seconds by disabling trackir afterwards and just felt so hopeless without it.

@01sean You can use any controller you want with trackIR. I don't know of any conflicts. As far as OS upgrades go, Move to Windows 7 64bit if you are a gamer, but it depends on your hardware too. XP will have support for a few more years, but multicore CPU's, Ram, and general performance are better in vista/7 because they use the hardware more efficiently. Vista is dead though, windows 7 is fantastic.

@nwa974 AS I said before I use sequential gear box. I set the G25 shifter into the locked position and foward is downshift, pull twoard u to upshift. I can drive a car this fast with manual. I made one error which was cutting the corner too much and hitting the back end of my car. Would you like to comment on anything else you ass?

@Mattcamel51 I always use whatever the car setup is. Pretty much all the cars in this game are set up to use sequential gears, so I locked my G25 shifter into that position. I always use manual box as it's faster. The more control you have over the car the better.

Just one question. Why is this video 480p. You could have easily recorded a 1080p footag and convert it to a 1080p full HD h.264 mp4 for youtube...-_-

@MG5319 I don't know why. When I coverted it I chose 1080 P and it dosent give the option in youtube. I believe I used the free program Virtual Dub.

@ImoonPeople You should use video editing software with the option to convert to 1080p HD h.264 or use a custom profile for Windows Movie Maker to accomplish the same only without the h.264 codec. The quality will be lower though.

Hey In your G25 Profile set it to 200 Degrees. Then In game set the forcefeedback to 100 for effects strength, and then the one below it to 100 also. Leave wheel weight to 50. Also I up the FFB to 110 in Logitech profile. Hope this helps!

FRAPS, the full version has no time limit. Try the demo and it allows to record in 30 second segments.

It's on the right on all the cars? Only some cars have right hand steering in this game. I don't think CM changed it for different countries.

I have to look up the settings to get exact. I believe I have it set to 280 degrees in Logitech settings. In game 0 deadzone, and make it so pedals and such have 0 deadzone. I forget the rest, I'll get back to you.

i have a little question about sound of the dirt game... I have a little problem with the engine sound, it has echo or something like that, but only on engine

I have the x-fi gamer card, and almost the same pc specs. The sound card may be the problem??? And in the audio setings do you have the hardware audio unlocked? because mine is locked.

You should be able to select Hardware. The Rapture setting is run through the CPU and said to be just as good but I dont use it. Install the latest drivers, or reinstall them and see if the option shows.

Set the wheel for I believe 280 Degrees in the control panel. Turn Enviornment feedback up to 100 percent. Turn down sensetivity to 0 and 0 deadzone. message me and I'll get the specifics.

Just have trackIR started and running before you start the game. You may need to click on the top left button and the "check game updates" to update the list in Track IR program. The game does not control it, just the TrackIR software.

I just wish we could use Freetrack, instead of Track IR for this like we could in GRID. Works just as good and is much cheaper to set up...

If only Track IR didn't use encrypted data now, I could play this awesome game with my Freetrack setup!

It dosen't work from other views, I did try. Games like HAWX do work from outside the plane though. I'm not sure about the hood view though actually so I'll try soon.

no its a pitty. trackir is not working in the hood view (dirt 2 demo), same as grid :(

i think its a little strange because you can look around in every view via the digital cross, but not with trackir.

damn i think cockpit view sucks a lill...

i used to drive with it till i got my g25.

g25 is more expensive but u get sth for ur money.

but u can still break records as hell with the momo!
