Definitely not a bad everyday phone for the average user. You can reduce the size of the text, the clock, turn off the key beep, customize with mp3 ringtones (must be 299 kb and under, ~ 19 sec), use the calendar function, even play Pac-Man for kicks. The phone has useful features, great screen resolution, great sound quality, very decent battery life, good reception... I'm no senior and I opted for it. Works fine so far.

I agree very much. This is a great phone for people more elderly-like, or even for children. Maybe children around the ages 8-12 I'd recommend. It has a nice simple touch to the phone, it's attractive, it runs pretty smoothly, so overall, it's a pretty good phone.

I was going to say that this is very similar to the Verizon Coupe. In fact, with the exception of the camera, this could very easily be, and probably is, the GSM version of the Coupe. The funny thing is that the Coupe seems to declare manufacture by UT Starcomm, yet here it's Pantech. So, who built it?
