  • My goodness, there are so many clips (past/present) from Detroit TV stations floating around YouTube. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

  • "And he done it!" lol

  • I never saw these Warner cartoons on WKBD, but some of them were the 1972 "colorized" (actually retraced from black and white TV prints, in Korea) 1936-'43 'Looney Tunes' featuring Daffy and Porky [the excerpt seen here is from 1941's "The Henpecked Duck"], and the rest were from Warner Bros. post-1948 library [Bugs Bunny in 1954's "Bugs and Thugs" at :25]. At the time, they were seen on WWOR-TV's early morning schedule in New York.

  • wkbd ch 50...

  • Who was the guy - apparently a former Hollywood actor - who hosted the old movies on TV 50?

  • Bill Kennedy

  • Fox Detroit? when did they brand themselves Fox 50?

  • 1991

  • *pulls down sleeve* Nothing up here! *pulls down another sleeve* Nothing up here! And, nothing up here! *points to head*

  • By The Way, WKBD Is Now A CW Affilate.

  • And was a UPN Affiliate before that

  • @jerrymouse16 Yes it is. I remember the 60s and 70s when WKBD was an independent station.

  • I see you left a little snippet of Cherry Merry Muffin commercial.I remember those Strawberry Shortcake like dolls from when I was younger and owned them.I still own my Cherry Merry Muffin doll from this day on and it doesn't smell anymore VV.Can you upload the commercial breaks from the WKBD cartoons you taped please?.I love seeing old commercials from the 80s and 90s because I grew up in those eras.
