  • So very sad.....Its not just the young ones, ive seen people in their late 20's and 30's and even 40's do this stuff.. 5 mins of fun can turn out to a life time of heartache....

this hits close to home, so very sad..... R.I.P Beautiful Angels xxx

  • Miss you so much steph I reaii do I walk around at school an I can't see you it brake into bits In the mornings i remember how you use to call my name out I wait every day for for you to walk through them gates just to see your smile an hear your voice again

    R.I.P stephy xox

  • if this program had been shown at our school before the 31st of October last year, maybe I would still have my former best friend here with us today, a beautiful talented 16 year old bmx rider who was so successful and I will never get to see her beautiful face again. I really want kids to wake up and to watch this, it really tore my heart out.

  • I understand why they make and show stories like this. it's literally heartbreaking yet it never seems to make a difference to the young drivers on our roads. There's commercials, information programs etc and they just don't seem to listen. At the end of the day if they're drunk the chances of taking what they've learnt into consideration is low. I just wish that they would stop and think before they enter a car after a party, too many young lives have already been lost.

  • I must admit, I count myself as a "hoon"

But after watching this, the state of the car, the state of those hundreds of people, broke my heart literally. :(

  • Shit i never actually thought of it like that ive seen the ads but it never sank in this but is whole different

  • A very powerful video - I hope it makes teens think about the choices they make that could end their live and impact the lives of their families.

  • My brother has brain damage frm a drunk driver, I have lost my brother in law in a car. I belive there should be compulsory defensive course as well as knowledge as we have just witnessed & it doesn't discriminate if your in the wrong place at the wrong time it can be fatal. They must relise & get it that you must respect a car aeverytime you get in it.

  • any1 else notice the kid at 8:00 laughing, what a tool....

  • @TheAccurse That's so disrespectful of him

  • when she said, "She cant be gone... then it hangs up" i started crying so bad. im a 16 year old guy from russia, but livin in the states. it makes me so upset when people speed or drink and drive. my heart goes out to the familys.

  • it should be common sense

my motorbike is faster than the average car and im only on my L's if you cant follow the rules this will happen to you

  • I feel so sorry for the familys its really sad to know that they wont be around anymore R.I.P

  • I lost a friend because of a car crash, words cannot explain how much emotion pain you go through when you loose someone close to you, every teenage driver needs to watch this.

If you love your friends, you won't put them at risk of loosing their life!

    Rip.

  • This is so fucking sad, I can't imagine what they're going through right now.

  • I wish this could have been shown at our school before October 31st 2011, a former best friend of mine was killed in a car accident due to a drunk drink driver who was speeding out of control in the outer suburbs of melbourne and its destroyed so many of Ebony's friends and family. I just wish I had seen this before hand.

  • How can you bare to feel a car going without a belt around you? It's just beyond me...

  • @flypastmymind its cos there sick in the head and enjoy getting a rise out of vulnerable ppl that can be broken down easily.

  • Im 12 years old a boy and cryed soooooo hard it gave me a head ache

  • The worst part of this video is seeing the state of the car, after the accident, and the grandfather and little girls face at the funeral. My heart goes out to all the families involved. These two young girls taken too soon.

  • my dad made me put in a 4 point racing harness in my car for safety .... and the next day i was an inch away from a head on it was fuckin scary

  • so sad

  • how did that carlton dry survive wtf

  • this is heart touching stuff!!! RIP.

  • this made me cry so hard ;'(

  • I will NEVER drink and drive. Im 15 and lecture my mum in the car when shes sober and a couple over the speed limit. Only thing im worried about is getting killed by someone who does.

  • 150? iv done 240 on a main road like a boss... but it killed my wallet with a speed camera

  • @UrWifeMyKid *like an asshole

  • @Zaeffer *Like a boss.

  • @UrWifeMyKid *I give up

  • @UrWifeMyKid Honestly, this is not the place to be commenting like that. Go and show off your balls somewhere else and realize just how tragic this is.

  • suched in ya silly cunts

  • When I watched this I automatically saw my cousin, these things should never happen it tears your life and your family apart leaves empty holes in you heart. This video was really touching and sad I cried all the way no one will never forget the feeling of see your dead cousin in an open coffin. It tears you heart apart.

  • This is the most powerful story ive ever seen in my life. Young lives taken that shouldnt have been. Im going to send my sympanthys to the friends and family of these young ones, i wish you all the best, Im very sorry.

  • Just to let yous all no Stephn Alana was throw outta tha car

R.I.P Stephanie Isabel drain xox -3

  • Thank you Brandon so much it's hurts thats she not here but it was the hardest time in my life an I placed the rose on her coffin an that I wasn't ready to say good bye an I still anit

Thank yous all for you kind comments

Love you forever Stephanie isabel drain x -3

  • im just about to get my L's and im really excited but no way would i ever drink drive and people that think they are invisible when they drive annoy me aswell

  • @RFxGaMiNg1 Do you mean invincible?

  • Curious? At what point does personal responsibility kick in. Got in the car with a drunk 16 yr old. Car 'suddenly' accelerated (because he was pressing the accelerator). CHOSE not to wear a seat belt...It was all such a surprise? NO IT WASN'T. Parents? At home drinking? Kids? Doing what teenagers do... Hmmmm. Sorry. There has been no loss to the gene pool. It's all someone elses fault. Sob. Sniff. Blame someone...

  • where was this???

  • ffs I sit down and think and I'm 18.

  • suck shit stupid cunts

  • S**t troll is s**t.

  • @JustinFromSydney u be a stupid cunt on the road u deserve to die

  • @halfcraft i know your not talking about the girls that died . :@

  • Comment removed

  • @10:09 the girl on the left smirks like it's funny when really two young girls from their school have just lost their lives...

  • @DJnothing1 she doesnt laugh

  • Ok I know this is going to sound heartless but don't do stupid things!! You know not to drink and drive and you know not to joy ride so why the hell would you do it! Now your stupidly has caused other peoples hurt, and u could have avoided it, what they did was completely selfish! They knew better but they just wouldn't listen, you can make as many shows about this until your blue in the face but they're not going to make a difference unless people start listening and stop acting like idiots!

  • the faster you drive the faster you die!

  • I saw the video I really hope young people watch this, I was a tow truck driver for many years & now I work for Greyhound, I still see drivers of all ages do stupid things on the road, I can understand where the sadness comes from ,BUT young people think it wont happen to me ! I plead to all drivers do the right thing, you do not have to clean the mess up as I used to do with the police & ambulance officers,I have seen some terrible sights.

  • Yous all need to keep your rude bloody comments to your self

My friends n her family n I lost the most amazing girl Eva that night 1 year n 2 days ago so just shut ya months if you have Nuff better to do than bitch go away

Show some respect as it still hurts some people to know we will never get to see her smile or get the hugs that made everything better SHOW RESPECT

R.I.P steph -3 yu forever babe

  • @jade7972 Well Said! You really have to wonder what mentality these trolls have who post rude and utterly disgusting and disrespectful hate comments on here have. I agree, people must show respect. RIP to those people who died in the accident, who are now watching over us all like angels by our sides.

  • Also, at 12:13 in the background you can hear a fake crying sound sample, it's from a game called Left 4 Dead...wow.

  • I love how at 4:16 they've purposely gotten a bottle of beer and emptied it and stood it next to the car...why? To make it look more effective...so it looks like a "better" story. Because producers don't care if "kids listen". They just want to produce a story that will grab adults attention...which is stories about teenagers partying etc...yeah it's so sad and I cried a bit whilst watching this, but it's not like teens are the only ones drink driving...they just want to put all of it onto us.

  • @carrlichaotic Would just like to say you obviously u where not at the accident otherwise you would know that they did not get a bottle of beer and empty it.....and that it had infact rolled out of the car when 1 of the passengers was pulled out, yes it was not standing up but to claim that it was emptied by the media is complete filth.

  • @MrLetitbe69 So, the whole car is trashed, all the glass shattered, everything practically rubble, yet a beer bottle was still able to maintain a little bit left in it and be fully intact? Yeah, get a brain mate.

  • ROADWHYZ is a great idea, not just for Australia but where I live, the UK should have this, we have a similar problem of young people dying in accidents that need never have happened if they had stopped to think of the consequences of speeding, DUI, etc. Australia's road safety films have always been very hard hitting to me and very well made and effective, makes our THINK campaigns look like Mary Poppins in my opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • I just found out, that watching this video that i knew them 2 girls, and it breaks my heart that i can never see then again.

  • @be5c1 Very sorry to hear this.

  • barely made a mention in the news ? thats because it happens so often from stupid choices but RIP girls <3

  • @menfluence The program roadwise shown in the video came to my school and was certainly not "soft" It did in fact show very graphic uncensored images of the aftermath of car accidents! I feel roadwise should be compulsory in all schools and shown to teenagers in year 10 who are getting there learners license!

  • we already know we gona crash. we allready know we can get fucked up. and die. were teenagers. there gona speed and just think "it wont happen to us"

  • I want everyone to learn from this, and any other crash that there has ever been involving a young person. Sure there are crashes involving older people too, but these road crash victims are TOO YOUNG these kids are our future.

  • This is a perfectly reasonable and understandable explanation as to why women should not leave the kitchen.

  • This impacted me so much! I've always made sure i never stepped into a car with a driver who has been drinking, or with someone i know that speeds! These are conscious decisions everyone needs to make before getting into a car, especially wearing a seat belt. My Hear goes out to the friends and family of all lives lost on our roads!

  • 12 months , 52 week , 365 days , 8,760 hours & since I last seen your smile or hear your laugh I miss your hugs so much you didn't deserve to go steph you really didn't

It's just not the same without you

    R.I.P Stephanie drain

    Never forgotten always loved

    Fly high Gurjuzz

N to the people that made rude commet my friends n I n her family have lost her forever you maybe didn't know her but he was the most amazing girl you could ever meet so I ask you not to put rude commets on here

  • @jade7972 this was a heart felt clip my love and support goes towards their family and your friends jade :) keep ya head up there still herre in our hearts <3 - brandon

  • i'm 15 too , thats a scary thought ... im still a baby , and its not just messing up my life , its messing up my families too ..

  • im 19 and just got my license. the only reason im safe on the roads is because of things like this- knowing raw information and never having it sugar coated. think its time to stop treating kids like kids... cos death has no mercy for those who tip toe around it.

  • im 16 and i have my license. i think should be a program in all aussie schools. we never had police officers or ambos coming to our school giving us the facts. all we have ever had is a bunch of teachers throwing repitive and tedious commercials at us that are clearly not having any kind of impact. wake up julia gillard. stop messing around with foreign crap that most aussies dont really care about and pay attention to the public, to the real issues at hand within the boundaries of australia.

  • @EtsGeeBaby

You are actually retarded. Driver saftey is not a federal issue, why would Julia Gillard be responsible for that in any way? Most Australians care about "foreign crap" than they do about the lives of a handful of underage drunks.

  • @hedonism13 well then maybe it should be!? i think a prime minister of australia should concern themselves with ALL AREAS of the public. i have to say youre probably right about most australian people not caring about underaged drink drivers but what about (hypothetically) the ten month old baby or the father of four who was killed by one of the people in the handful? would the australian people care then? shouldnt julia guillard care aswell? answer me that oh wise one

  • Celine Dion- Fly at 11:19- 11:45

  • How about instead of telling people to stop driving so fast, they stop making cars have the ability to go that speed. I don't pity anyone who drinks drives. It's their own fault. I pity the person the idiotic driver hurts or kills.

  • @Jessjabog that wouldnt fix anything. you can crash and get killed doing 60 km/h..

  • @Ohyeahhoneyshesband

    Have some fuckin respect

  • Rest in peace steph <3

  • My Dad does Road wise talk's =D

  • What they did, they were looking for a death wish. One. Stupid. Mistake.

  • This video makes me angry, not because of the subject matter, but because every bogan on it keeps saying "I seen it".

It's "I saw it" you stupid derro fucks.

  • @ohyeahhoneysheband haha so true

  • @ohyeahhoneysheband

2 more young lives lost on the road, and all you care about is their grammar.....who the fuck do you think you are?

  • @ToughCookie1992 A sick cunt.

  • The victims look like slappers.

  • @ohyeahhoneysheband fuck you heartless cunt.

  • @Pashabbulker - Ignore the troll.

  • @Pashabbulker oi enuff of that man, not on here

  • This is too sad , 2 lovely teens lives lost , tears are hitting my shirt like bullets right now . R.i.p you 2 -3 love to you and your family may god be with them both.

  • well last night i wish this man would had watched this video, he was speeding, me and my mum were travelling on the other side of the road, and saw one of the most horrifying crashes i have ever seen in my life im 16 turning 17. that crash has now put me off driving, i was scheduled to go for my P's in 2 days. they just don't understand that cars are killing machines. which is why i leave the speed, to the track, not on public roads.

R.I.P girls, you deserved better than this.....

  • i'll always be that sober person driving friends home

  • My thoughts go out to the family and friends of the young girls and boys who have passed away. i think the campaign should be in ALL school not just school in Australia. my friends were in a car accident luckily they survived because they were wearing seatbelts. teenagers wil respond better to real life stories even if it upsets them they will never forget what they have been told and shown if its real... once again, my thoughts go out the family and friends!!

  • I'm glad this has gone viral

  • What I don't understand is - why do they take the kids out of these ROADwhyz courses if the information gets too upsetting for them? Make them STAY and listen to the WHOLE story instead of being soft cocks and taking the sooks out - they'll never learn that way.

  • @roseanne74 there is a point you have to stop or you will traumatise them and they will never get in a car or get there licenses and that doesnt mean they will not die in a car related accident its just unnecessary to go that far

  • just going to go ahead and state the obvious...

there are road rules and regulations for a reason.

there is a law against underage drinking for a reason.

selfish teenagers need to understand that so we don't have to sit down and see your family and friends crying and absolutely distraught on national tv. it breaks my heart watching this and knowing it could have been prevented.

  • "Our children are just- not- listening." Because adults never drink-drive or speed.

  • @darthatron2 The point is that the children are meant to learn what not to do by example of what happens to both adults and children than break those rules, but clearly it hasn't sunk in yet if that's your argument.

  • @Ethendel My point is that adults and teenagers are equally stupid on our roads. But it's a minority of both groups. Stories like these just generalize teenagers as a whole, and that bugs me.

  • @darthatron2 You cannot just blame children, that's stereotyping.

  • you must have to be one heartless fucker to dislike this video

  • Coming from a 17 year old P plater: I think saying that teenagers don't think is not true, the vast majority of us are smart enough to plan our night around drinking so we don't put ourselves in situations like this. Not only drink driving but wreckless too. I myself witnessed one of my best mates have a car accident leaving a school car park, and it has opened my eyes to the reality that this stuff really happens and I have learnt a valuable lesson that no TV ad can teach.

  • This made me think of you..

    R.I.P Toddy, Jake, Jarry :(

  • "I've heard these messages a million times but I never listen to them" Fucking morons.

  • 12:09 Witch crying sound effect from left 4 dead!?! wtf

  • Of course people dying is unfortunate but people have a responsibility to look out for themselves. If they don't give any effort to follow simple traffic laws then this is going to keep happening.

  • Comment removed

  • hahahahahaahah

  • 13:00 mins long? TL;DR

No sympathy, this was basically suicide... dont drink and drive.

  • That program is way too soft and therefore uneffective.

Show them gore pictures of accidents - uncensored and real.

That's what I call reality check!

  • @Menfluence that is what is done in Japan... whenever you accumulate enough points to be brought in, say 3 illegal parkings - youd be mandated to watch 4 hours of gore!!!

  • LMFAO. Seriously? It's hard to feel bad when i see these cam whores with that music. This best be a joke

  • ausies are ex cons anyways, who cares

  • @superlana6 Good job raising a stupid whore. Good riddance.

  • Wear your seatbelt, don't drink and don't go 100 % over the speedline. Learn to fucking drive.

  • Moral of the story dont be a dumb, drugged up whore and drive.

  • Moral:

Don't be a dumb cunt who drinks and drives.

  • YOU NEVER KNOW IT MAYBE YOU NEXT. JUST DONT DO IT...

  • Every one needs to take a step back i think & have a look what is going on around you. SPEED KILLS, ALCHOLE KILLS, DRUGS KILL mix these all in with a car & what do you get lives taken befor their time. Come on guys its not just teens its US TOO befor you go pointing you finger at the kids maybe you should take a look at your self every one speeds every one drink drives, but why. the girl at the beginning is right we have speed limits for a reason we have breathos for a reason. THINK B4 U ACT.

  • I have to admit I hate the way people on their blacks act, some have their heads stuck so far up their arses that they don't see day light. You are not perfect. I had someone on their opens coming straight towards me and into my lane today, I had to move right over to avoid a crash, this was in the middle of a busy town by the way. And guess what I noticed? THE DICKHEAD WAS ON HIS PHONE TEXTING! Before accusing teenagers take a good look at yourselves, it is only the minority doing this.

  • As for these emotional campaigns that are supposed to work, they don't. The only message that gets across is how stupid the people were and their lack of competence in driving. Instead of wasting money on these campaigns, maybe more money could be placed into programs which actually teach people to drive in the first place. This whole incident would have been avoided if alcohol wasn't involved. That was the real killer, not speed.

If people knew how to drive they wouldn't crash.

  • @SuperLana6 RIP to your daughter, i'm afraid im not too good with comforting words, but please just try and hold on. She lost her world and she was your world. my deepest condolences to you and your family.

  • What is wrong with youtube people, two beautiful young girls have lost there lives, and you're going on about how they're all fuckwits, it's wrong what they did but whats happened has happened, just try and say something not as strong please?

  • OMG THIS IS SOOO SAD !!:(

    R.I.P

  • I lost 3 great mates a couple months ago, that hardly made the new too. just slow down kids, speed kills and ur only alive once :'(

  • @LambdaQuarks Yes, we were both very young, we had been together since we were 15. had our daughter at 17. Not the best situation.

  • The day after my 19th bday, I lost my fiance/the father of my daughter, his blood alcohol was 0.166 & he was not wearing a seatbelt. I am now nearly 39 & I will never get over his death, it changed who I was, who I am, As the grandfather said, it really does break your heart. Every day I think of him, like it was yesterday. I feel for all the people in the video, driver included, sadly in these cases, you dont get a second chance. Its so not worth it.

  • @lindaram21 I'm sorry about your loss long time ago but...you were engaged at 18 and already had a child at that age?

  • some people are just dumb

  • this message would get through to young people if they were somewhere like home with a tv...

not in a local park thinking that they're cool cunts underage drinking, taking drugs, driving fucked off their face with what ever alcohol/ drugs they've taken...

these people hear the stories but they dont mean anything because its heard as background noise as they update their facebook txt messages etc...

  • @MetalHospital92 You really have no clue cunt. Fuck off.

  • @TheRisingCG nah, i got no clue what its like to go through this coz i'm not fucking stupid like most teenagers...

i never will have a clue what this is like and i'm proud of it...

fuck peer presure, do waht u wanna do... then u'll never have to expeirence this and think 'fuck, maybe i'm partly to blame for the death of a 15 year old friend'

  • not all young drivers are a bunch of no brained itdiots who dont think this dick head obviously is we get get targeted for bullshit there are decent young drivers who arent hoons and idiots you have a red plate your called a hoon and targeted by police cause of people like this that be absolute idiots that dont have a brain and kill innocent people like these girls the driver should be locked up.

  • lol the name is V8 supercarmadness and there talking about speeding and death

  • This video is very confronting. Unfortunatly it falls on deaf ears. People get behind the wheel of a car and think nothing will happen to them. We have all driven a car when we should have known better, having to much drink in us. It sickens me to see so many young people killed. Please slow down, and think before you get behind the wheel.

  • "They have Speed limits for a reason" fuckwit! and thankyou 1Cupcakezzz1

  • LambdaQuarks.. your a fuckwit! of course speeding is involved.. that how they lost control now shut your fucking mouth

  • @ashhh42 Go be boring all your life somewhere else. I have been driving for years with no accidents, you are yelling like a fuckwit. I don't mind taking a risk, I do it with myself in the car only. Everyone takes a risk just getting in the car. If you pay attention however it will save your life. I have recovered from a 90mph skid on a highway while some can't even handle a car at 40mph and kill people. I'm surprised some of these people survive their trip down the stairs at home.

  • On another note those lives are now lost. Requiescat in pace girls.

  • It is the drinking part that kills. There is nothing wrong with some good old speeding around town. I've been speeding for years now. If you pay attention, you live. If your conscious ability is somehow altered by drugs, you are boned.

  • @LambdaQuarks Actually it's not just the drinking that kills, if you lose control of the car while speeding your like a bullet being shot randomly, you never know where you are going to stop and who is going to get killed in the process.. Seriously dude grow a brain.. People die through attitudes like yours, did you not listen to any of those kids in that video saying they never thought it would happen to them or someone they knew..

  • @1Cupcakezzz1 Are you trying to give me lessons on what a car and momentum means? I have years of experience racing cars legally off the street as well. All I am saying is if you enjoy cars, no way are you ever going to not push your car once in a while when the conditions look okay. Everyone does, and it is PERFECTLY okay because we are human and sometimes it is worth the risk for some fun. You can snap your neck on a skii slope also, we should ban that forever.

  • @LambdaQuarks you may want to rephrase the way you wrote it then and remember where you are posting this info, teenagers don't have years of experience such as yourself and don't know how to correct oversteering etc... This is a tragic situation and maybe thinking before posting that speeding is ok may be a good idea in the future.

  • @1Cupcakezzz1 LoL okay, speeding is okay. For some. You see, I would bet ALL the money in the world that this would have been avoided if the driver wasn't drinking. That is all I am saying, I feel bad that these two teens had to lose their life because of the actions of this driver. It tells you that when you get into a car with someone you are essentially trust your life in their hands.

  • @LambdaQuarks You could be the next one.. All it takes is for something random to happen for you to lose control and kill someone... NOONE is immune even people who do the right thing and drive carefully...

  • @1Cupcakezzz1 Obviously, you stay home and never drive again if you like. I don't mind taking the risk.

  • How dare yous say all this? That is so selfish and harsh, they are teenagers! We all like to have fun, and YES the outcomes do come out very bad like this one has. All of you can not say that yous havent overloaded before, or drunk drive, or sped, because everyone is. No one deserves to die! No one. R.i.p Girls <3

  • Beautiful? Pfft, stupid bitches had it coming.

  • It is sad, But if you're going to be a fuckwit behind the wheel and put others at risk then this is what to expect.

  • @sh33p0rzx Cause the fuck wit was drinking.

  • All u need is to learn how to drive drunk

  • everything they have said is real, the pain you go through is unbearable. Listen, please. Drive safe, wear a seatbelt, dont speed.

Rest in peace, Brendan, Sonja, Zara and Danni. <3

  • PEOPLE MAKE CHOICES AND EVERY CHOICE HAS A REPERCUSSION

  • this is stupid. why would you do such a thing? the driver should have known better., the boys in hospital are gona walk away from this thinking it is all ok, WELL its not. you bloody idiots. how are the friends and most of all the FAMILY of these two young girls going to pull up? smarten up. life isnt a game

  • I quote... If you drink, then drive, you're a bloody idiot

  • my Daughter was killed in an accident in Australia. So Sad I feel for ALL involved.

  • 16 people don't have a soul I see

  • @MJAussie360 Look from the other perspective..

  • @missjessiekay What other perspective? They are trying to raise awareness and those people chose to dislike it because they didn't care about saving more lives on our roads?

  • So maybe if anything take away the real message from the video instead of criticizing it...because one day this could be your child..your brother...or even your partner...

  • and as for the driver imagine living with yourself everyday for the rest of your life knowing such grief and agony knowing that you had taken two lives and not strangers life's but your friends people who you care so much about, I think that is punishment enough...I know the driver wouldn't be able to live with himself after this just as the other passengers wouldn't be able to either.

  • its only when tragedy strikes they you truly realize you aren't, for anyone to watch this video and criticize those who have passed it is so disrespectful to the families and friends who are grieving, Yes this could have been stopped...but so can cancer if found at the right time, suicides, overdoses....But we don't criticize those who dye that way its a choice we all make....our life's are all taken into our own hands....

  • Death is the most tragic of all especially when those who pass from this world are so young, I know that people will judge this video because they think they are better, more intelligent, Stronger but the truth is none of us, Everyday we made silly decisions this is just one of those decisions we all could make, I know when I was a teenager I did some pretty silly things We all would have because when you are a teenager you have this belief you invincible and capable of anything
