You're overanalyzing, man. It's called game mechanic clashing. One game mechanic may have a severe advantage over another one so it may seem kinda cheap but Axl is relatively fair in his source game.

Guilty Gear is pretty broken though, it's a game with so many bugs and glitches, to win in high level play, you have to abuse them.

Eddie is god bs in GG, he's full of unblockables and stuff because of glitches. Its insane, I seen some wacky stuff in some GG vids.
