  • I've used this product since fist started coloring my hair. So about 3 or 4 years now. But I only use the black/brown. It always makes my hair hair super silky and shiny (not greasy) and that's why I kept using it. My issue now is, I want my hair a different color and...it wont penetrate the previously colored hair! :( so now i have dark auburn roots -.- what do i do!?! i don't want to bleach >.< Help me, please :(

  • SO WHAT IS THE BEST DYE TO USE?

  • Thanks for this video and great info !

  • hello MSMIKKO,

Sister you are the bomb. as a licensed cosmetologist, I applaud your knowledge. the way you broke this product down reminds me of the days when we listened to experts such as Olive Benson. knowledge is power!!!! go head with your PROFESSIONAL self.

    a new fan and subscriber.

  • Hi, I love this vid. I used this dye once with no problem the next time I had it professional applied - this product almost killed my for real so please do not use this product...... My face blew up, it ate my hair, the skin of my scalp, ears and neck. I had to be give several IV's. Was put on several different meds. My entry body had been poisoned by this product. I have to go to doctor for months. My lymph nodes could not handle all the toxics that are in this product.

  • thank god I seen this.. thank you

  • WHATS A GOOD JET BLACK DYE?*DARK AND LOVELY AND CLAROL FADES OUT OF MY HAIR QUICKLY .!

  • @MissyNizzy Yes Indigo and henna are both natural. I read you can mix both in the right proportions to give a brown color or just indigo for black. I personally have only used pure mehendi henna in my hair and love it ( I have 3a/ b hair). Thought I'd pass on this information but I can't speak from personal use, worth looking into however. God Bless

  • I learned this in school! But thank you for putting the word-out for the people who did not!

  • Clients are cheap and the stylist know that this product is never tought in the class room. So because clients(men to) don't want to pay 40+ for the proper color service. And clients would need to purchase color care shampoo and conditioner, but salons don't sell it. We have clasic issue of a lack of professionalism and stylis/barber consultation. Which puts the barber shops/salons in a cross road, give high quality with supported product or loose business because all shops/salons don't.

  • I don't use Bigen anymore because it does leave my hair very dry. I liked the permanent grey coverage though; but it is still just as bad as any other hair dye with the chemicals......BTW, i've noticed that Bigen is only sold in the "black" sections of haircare at stores like Walmart and Target. I wonder how inferior this product really is?

  • thank u much love :)

  • BAJANG

  • Thanks for clearing things up about bigen! My mom used the typical creams for years, until this one day she started getting reactions real bad. Ever since that day she uses pure henna, but she would love to have a darker colour again like her natural hair. Unfortunately she hasn't fount anything that will work for her, EVERTHING has chemicals. Do you maybe know a product that is natural like henna, but makes your hair darker too?

  • this is really a great channel I dont know why I havent found you sooner Im so out of touch, havent worked a beauty shop in like 12 yrs. but now Im asking the same questions as others whats good to cover grey on natural hairs

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. I was all ready to buy this product online. What hair dye would you recommend?

  • Thanks for the review I have some but I'm scared to use it now. So what do you suggest for covering grey???

  • So what dye do you suggest for covering grey hair??????

  • 4-6 weeks is for the regrowth.

every dye has nice things said about them. its called marketing.

not all hair dyes do what they say they're going to do, doesn't technically mean they're a bad.

people have different hair. different skin. different reactions.

if there were a 1000 people allergic to something in hair dyes and didnt do the strand test, ended up in hospital, spread the word to everyone and you were the one watching it all, you wouldn't blame the products you'd blame the individual.

  • I understand your concern for all this, and that you mean well. I went onto folica.com before i came to your channel. what i found was that a lot of people hadn't done the strand test. for every box dye like you said, there are instructions and thing is, not everyone follows them. if you knew you had an allergic reaction to it, you wouldn't put it all over your head. if they had done a strand test in the first place they would have known that.

  • i belive it is only for asian hair as when you see it in 99ranch etc. asian markets. it says on the box for their line silk touch DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR ASIAN HAIR. i use no problem, and i use dark chestnut. im half japanese half white, been using it. no problem they ALSO do make ones that lift and does have lighter colors. Your dumb

  • Thank you so much for this review

  • Henna dries out hair! Orientals that use it who had silky shiney hair before using henna ,after had dry brittle hair! Imagine what it does to black hair!

  • “Sensitization by para-phenylenediamine(PPD) has been considered by some countries to be so great a hazard that its use in hair dyes was banned in Germany in the early 1900’s. It was subsequently prohibited in France, and in 1964 in Sweden; however in Japan PPD is still used as a common component in hair dyes.”

p-Phenylenediamine hair dye dermatitis is common in Singapore. PPD hair dyes are preferred for colouring, as they impart a long-lasting jet-black colour. Read about their skin problem

  • @sagg9909 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS....LEARN the CORRECT WAY!!

  • this site has more info Hennaforhair and Livestrong bigen ingredients , para-Phenylenediamine or PPD is not natural, nor does it produce soft healthy hair. Those who think otherwise will note in a couple of years you may have straw like brittle hair, and will wonder why your hair is thinning, and breaking off. The dye does contain Ammonium hydroxide, and Sodium Laureth Sulfate, very drying, but are used because they are cheap ingredients

  • @sagg9909 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...LEARN the Correct WAY!!

  • My Grandmother uses this. She's 71, and her hair is SUPER soft, glowy, and thick. Maybe Bigen is meant for Asian consumers? Well, that's what I think. :)

  • This is exactly why I don't trust hair stylists at all. Good Hair is Bad for their Business. I also find it odd that Women with Short Hair and Women with Long Hair Never agree on which products are best. I only listen to the advice of other Women with Long Hair because listening to Women who haven't been able to retain their own Hair Length just doesn't make sense to me. It's like listening to a Fat Person about being In Shape.

  • @mochacreamdoll I am happy for you, but my dear I deal with FACTS...not my opinion. ANd my hair, hehehehehehe I can CUT it all off and I CAN GROW IT BACK. Stay tuned and LEARN the CORRECT WAY.

  • Are you serious? Bigen is one of the most Gentle Hair Colors that I have ever used. It has no Ammonia or Hydogen Peroxide, that is why it doesn't come it lighter shades. Also, you are wrong to say that it is not a permanent hair color because the only reason that it is recommended for use every 4-6 weeks is because of the New Growth that needs to be colored. I have extremely long, thick and relaxed hair that I have been using this product on and I Love It. It doesn't even have a strong scent.

  • @mochacreamdoll YES I AM SERIOUS~you dont have to KNOW me...you dont have to TRUST ME...FOLICA.COM,,,there is a reason why I am educated, and professional.

  • What is a good permanent hair color?

  • thank you bcuz i jus bought that product and will be taking it back. thanx

  • Long story short...do your research people!! You can't blame someone else or a manufacturing company for your short-comings. If you didn't read up on a product & do research its your own fault!!

  • @MSMIKKO100 WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST A GOOD BRAND OF HAIR COLOR..WHAT DO YOU THINK OF HENNA? I AM CURRENTLY 6 MONTHS NATURAL. I ALWAYS WANTED COLOR HOWEVER I WAS AFRAID OF DAMAGE...ANY SUGGESTIONS?

  • Thank you MsMikko. Wish i saw this sooner.

  • I've used this a long time... Today is my last time even thinking about bigen. Thanks! LOL I am sitting here with red root and Oriental Black hair now trying to figure out how I am going to get this black outta my hair without damaging it. Ugh!

  • it IS PERMANENT. It just FADES after 4-6 weeks!

  • my god.... now i know why my hair is all super different i used it for about 2 years all different shades of bigen and it always became reddish and by time turned my hair into a dried out thing... now i try to keep it alive and use just normal hair dyes ...but it not looks the same anymore and lost all its shine and defined waves ='(.. want my old hairr backkk liars.

  • i use to use bigen but i found out bigen is made in japan,,and it has three times the amount of pdd in it than american made dyes,,,,very cariogenic,,,beware,,the high chemicals is why the reactions.....japan doesnot have same regulations like the u.s does so no telling how many dangerous chemicals your dealing with......

  • What do-it-yourself hair color can we use to cover gray?

  • My beautician used it, so I use it. Its ok to use ONLY ON YOUR HAIR

  • You know your stuff! :) Thank you. Any comments on special dyes manufactored for relaxed hair such as the dyes by dark and lovely?

  • Thank you for sharing this info! My mom has been using this product for a while to cover her grays... I've always been skeptical of it! She mainly applies it to the front of her hair and I have noticed that it is getting noticeably thinner and weak.

I'm so tired of companies lying on their labels... you can't trust anything these days! Ugh!

  • thank you for this review im a natural and was thinking about getting bigen to change my color a bit but with this info im very happy i did research one last time jus before doing it..... THANK YOU MIKKO!

  • Im confused.. unless i misheard. If its such a bad product, shoul there be a recommendation of a good product instead of just slagging it, and leaving everyone in limbo? In my case ive used ths product for over 6 years and have never had any breakage, dullness or irritation, praise God! And i use it on avrg twice a year. However, following your review, id like to know what you would recommend is a good product to use on relaxed hair. Thank you:-) btw i like your method of delivery

  • You are really up on your stuff! Very good review :)

  • so whats a good hair dye b/c i wanna dye my bang like a chestnut color !

  • I don't mean any harm but this is why chemical services should be left to the professionals (licensed cosmetologist and barbers)! Professionals are always called upon after the do it yourseflers make a mess of their hair! READ THE MANUFACTURER'S DIRECTIONS, DO NOT MIX IN A METAL BOWL AND AND DO A PATCH TEST AND WAIT 24 TO 48 HOURS.

  • Seriously everything that was said on this video is true of ANY hair coloring product or ANY product that chemically alters the hair! They all say the same thing! Do a patch test! Don't mix in a metallic bowl. Its called reading and its pretty easy. People have adverse reactions to different brands of products even Henna...

  • thank you soo VERY much i will stop using this product my hair keeps washing out red!!!! brown its hideous .

  • You can use pure henna and indigo to color your hair black WITHOUT chemicals! Google "pure henna and indigo."

  • So, what can we use to safely colour our hair?

  • omg i was going to go out and buy this and try it!!!! I am glade i saw this volg frist. thank for pulling my coat tail.I luv my natrual hair and i would have been sick!!!!!

  • OMG! I wish I had seen this video before using this product! Not only did I mix this in a metalic bowl....I spent 2 hours in the hospital from a reaction to this dye! My face blew up so tight that my vision was affected. I had to get a shot and medicine to lower my blood pressure. Before I went to the hospital I walk around with my hair falling out and my scape turning into sores, and my ears were peeling. Lawd! I was messed up!

  • @Brendar48 I AM SOOO GLAD you wrote YOUR TESTIMONY!!!! Hope everyone learns from you and a host of my SUBSCRIBERS who have had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with this PRODUCT.

  • @Brendar48 Did you perform a patch test 48 hours before putting the color on?

  • @HTownATLchik

Sorry just saw this i didnt do a patch test because i used it several times before but for some reason now i'm allergic to it....actually now i am to other dyes since that happened.

  • Well what is a good hair color? Permanent or semi. Just asking because my hair does all of the the cons that you talked aobut in this video. As far as jet black. What would you suggest? Thanks

  • omg...that explained so much. i was ADDICTED to this stuff last year. every 2 months like clockwork i'd go out and buy the bigen oriental black or the black-blue, and my hair would be so pretty for like the 1st week, but as soon as i relaxed it it turned on me. so jan of this year i stopped using it becasue my hair was breaking off INTENSLY and i wanted to grow it out, so now in june, havent used any dyes in my hair since dec 2010, my naturally brown hair is red in the sun!

  • I LOVE how you explained this product. I was just about to go out and buy it. I need something to cover my gray hair- especially in the front. Fortunately for me, I have to do the allergy test because I find that I am allergic to MOST products for some reason. Thanks to you, I won't waste my time or money on this one. Can you reccommend something for me please. Sharon in Fla.

  • Ms. Mikko. I was JUST at the store last evening seeking blue black Bigen but could not find it in this country town. Anywho, I wound up purchasing Garnier Nutrisse. You mentioned "good hair colour" but did not suggest brands. Will you please share the brand(s) that you consider as such? I heard of one at Whole Foods ($18/pkg) that is waaaay beyond my financial grasp. You say what? Thank you in advance.

    Lovin' Locks

  • Beautiful! Keep up the good information!

  • what is a good perminent dye ic an use that is not expensive?

  • Comment removed

  • This is very good information. Let us also not forget the women we see with that "greenish" tint to their hair. This can also be a result when using hair colors that contain metals along with relaxers. The result can so unfabulous. :( Thanks for the info MS MIKKO.

  • this is so interesting...you definitely did your homework...um...i had to subscribe...i'm eager to see what else you have to say...and to think i was going to buy that this weekend...ugh....so thanks

  • thank you for sharing

  • thanks for helping me avoid a disater, lol. why was i in the aisle at the beauty supply store debating bigen and clairol rinse? I am just looking for a rinse mind you and not a permanent. So I did become confused with the bigen box and the apparent two-sided description of what this product is. my aunt uses this product. she doent have to perm and her hair is straight. I relax so I try to stay away from permanent dyes or anything that would counterinteract with the perm...

  • this is not true. my hair is natural. i use bigen 3 times. i love it. it has never done anything bad to my hair.

  • I think I wont use it again. I've gotten a rash on my beard and puss was oozing out for a day or so. I mean it makes my beard look really good, but its not worth the rash or the puss afterwards!!!!!

  • i like that. im a barber, and i told them that it wasn't right. all that glitters is not gold.you need to let alot more know about this product. because people wont the bigen to make them look better, but it has side effects. thank you for bringing this to the light.

  • HELLOOOOOOOOOOO THERE(*-*) i use bigen for 3 months but i have a big problem i have gray hairs thats y i use bigen every week what should do now or i add some camiclas in bigen???? please help me for that.thank u

  • what did it say

  • thank you for this info

  • wat product would you recommend for the black color instead of bigen!!!

  • Thank you so much you just saved me from a possible emergency! i JUST bought this home to buy and was about to use it and thought let me check with my wonderful YT fam && i find THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg def returning this ASAP!!!!!!

  • must u be a fudy duddy ..

  • HEY I USE BIGEN AND IT SEEMS GREAT FOR ME! I DID A VIDEO ON IT, GO CHECK IT OUT

  • Thank You Sooooooooooooo Much!!!!!!

You just saved me from a hair horror.

Was gonna try Bigen to cover gray, won't be doing that.

    Thanks HUN!!!

  • thank you very much i will stop buying it from lee

  • DONT USE THIS!!!

  • You are good!

  • Hi there Ms.Mikko - I have been using Bigen for 10 year plus. When I really want Black Black hair I leave it on all day or over night. I never damaged my hair thank GOD! However you are right it hit wont lift unless you wait about 2 month then lift with bleach - now that is a pain the butt. My hair is strong I can Relax, bleach and permanent color in one process about 2 times a year and be ok, I don't recommend I am just inpatient.. I have never used the other colors. Thanx for info.

  • I used this product years ago their Jet black was the only hair dye out on the market that worked in covering my premature gray hair. The results were wonderful. I was so happy that I finally found something for my hard to color gray hair. Until it did me wrong, on the day I hair dyed when I slept for the night I woke up with a black tongue. I could not believe it, I stretched out my tongue the dye was concentrated in the middle of my tongue extending toward my tonsils. How do i file FDA rpt

  • Thank you sister! I... like you, like to research b4 consuming. I am a barber of 26 years. Customers ask me frequently of the use of bigen. It's good to have seen your research and understanding of another money grabn product.

  • and it as ppd component hi allergic

  • u are so right about the drying of the hair i used it about 8 weeks post relaxer and (silly me) forgot to sleep with sumn on my head at night and my poor lil ends were tore up....good thing my mom went to cosmetology school and knows how to trim ends with giving me a total haircut...BTW she told me dont put that sh** in my hair but NOOOO i want black hair....

  • I wish I saw this before this EXACT same hair color sent me to the emergency room.....beware ladies!!!

  • @Mobettah78 the same appened to me my head loked like a baloon

  • THANKS SO MUCH! can i bleach this out?

  • Does this product cause a bad reaction to black hair clientel only because from my understanding this product is primarily targeted for oriental hair which, of course, has a totally different texture?

  • OMG!! I've been using this since I was 14 yrs. old...MAYDAY HUSTON, we have a problem!!!

  • I like your video's Ms Mikko there very informative,as a graduate from cosmetology school. I have found in schools I've attended that most people do what ever it takes to make money and some have told me if that's what the client want's, that's what they will do because the client dosen't know. That is so sad. I think you for the education you are giving to the public on hair care. Keep up the good work.

  • Thank you so much for educating me as a non professional consumer thank you thank you thank you I am going right now to tell all my friends to subscribe to you and hear this info for themselves as well as check out that website.

  • wow, i think i change my mind about dyeing my hair with that

  • i bought this dye some time ago and with all my products i research them before i use them. Thank God I did a research on this one because the negative reviews on it was enough for me to return it. I do not need a swollen face.

  • @MSMIKKO100 I went to the beauty supply store a few days ago and saw Bigen in a liquid oil based formula. When I saw it I remembered this video, do you know anyone who has used it? I was tempted to buy it but I bought Kiss Express semi-permanent color in Jet Black instead.

  • Hi Ms. mikko. Have you heard anything about the product Manic Panic? It's a semi-permanent hair color. I've used it for the first time, and I love it, but I wanted to know if there were any other damaging effects later on? If you've heard anything about this product, would you recomment it?

  • your the best!love you girl

  • Hi ms mikko,

i love your videos, they are so infomative, thx for the vid on the Bigen....but is there a particular dye that could be use that is true to itself {there is no gimic behind it?} thank you...

  • very informative!

  • You are smart, funny and very clear in your words and thinking. Thank you very much!

  • For me personally, I love this product. I have locs & have used this product for years. I always use the oriental black & it leaves my hair looking very healthy & lusturous. However, after watching your video, it does concern me that the producers of this product fail to list all the ingredients. My cousin brought it to my attention that this product may contain mercury & its scary thinking of the potential health hazards that may stem from that. Its not worth my health! Thanks for your input!

  • omg dontttt try thisproduct i dyed my hair for the first time and my hair is falling out like alot

  • oh wow thank you for this video,,, i almost bought this brand the other day. i am so glad that i did not. thanks soo much for your research.

  • I used Bigen a few months ago and then decided to use Loreal HiColor and to my surprise the color didn't take. I'm wondering did it have anything to do with having used Bigen months earlier?

  • nice video!

  • I literally was about to put bigen in my hair but something told me to check it out before I do. I come across MS MIKKO and BAM it's in the trash. Thanks for educating us black folk on our hair.

  • I haven't even finished the video and already I'm about to blast Bigen. I hate that product. It broke my hair!

  • Thank You. I was about to buy that crap.

  • Thank you SO much!!!! ...I have a High Allergen problem, and I don't want to use Any dye that might trigger another reaction for me. (Tired if the hospital visits.) Do you know of any Completely safe dyes to use??

I know that this is something I probably won't get away with, in that probably None of them are safe, completely. But if there is one, could you please, please, Please let me know? :( ... ...Please?

  • Thanks, I know of someone who uses this and I dont think that they know about this problem.

  • oh wow, i have two boxes of bigen under the sink ready to use...thanks for this vid. ive used bigen three times over the past 2 years

  • This was good. All this time I thought Bigen was natural. And true I only see people using it to get dark hair.

  • i have been using BIGENS for years, and love it no problems!! Everybody is different, ever since i have gotton my sisterlocks I have been using HENNA, but i have nothing negative about bigens, most of all hair color have chemicals so be aware of ALL!

  • I have been using this product for years, and I have noticed that my natural hairline is getting thinner and thinner! What color would you recomend for natural hair that is graying? Thanks

  • I saw your video entry over at LHCF and I have to say thank you!I'm relaxed and I have lots of grays and I use that same Bigen Oriental Black. Your post was very informative,I'm going to look for another alternative.

  • Thank you so much for this. I was about to post up a video that points this out, but you beat me to it. I tend to stick with Herbul Henna Burgundy. The reds don't have the metals like Bigen does. Don't know why but darker hair dyes tend to have metals or other nasties in them. Anyways Herbul leaves my hair thicker& healthier. Plus gives me that red I love without damaging my hair. Again thank you for posting. People need to know this. Peace.

  • OMG! I didn't know that!

  • ok now what about highbeam??cus i use that on some people hair

  • wow, thanks for the info on this. I used this about 2-3 months ago and I thought I was going crazy because now I see my hair is back to the original color. Thank u so much!

  • ms mikko what do u think of affirm relaxers?

  • what color would you reccomend for dyeing hair black I can not afford henna and indigo an the only hiar color that got less then a 9 out if 10 on hazardous is clairols loving care in natural black and that lasts between 8 tp 12 shampoos sometimes longer since I am a natural pale blonde.

  • Also I strongly suggest only using this product if you have gray hair. It provides total coverage for gray hair. If you are just looking to dye your hair another color or lighten it, use another product or go to a color expert to get this done. Also do not mix this product with regular tap water out the sink. I use alkaline water and an non-sulfate shampoo. This dye is not for the casual user or those with chemically treated hair.

  • This is a permanent hair color. I have used it for 5 years. It is suppose to be used for women with gray hair! It was recommended for individuals with gray hair not for women who do not have gray hair. They always tell you to a skin test FIRST! I also would not recommend using this product with any other chemical process. I do not have a relaxer or any other chemicals in my hair. No negative results in five years.

  • Very useful information! My friend uses this brand of dye all the time, and I was going to try it, but after viewing your video I think I will steer clear. Thank you so much for posting. I was wondering if there is a brand of hair colour that you DO recommend? I've never coloured my hair before but am looking to do so...

  • MsMikko what is the best black semi color to use?

  • Thank you soooooooooooooooo much

  • I must tell you ms mikko that this hair color is not that serious. You could have saved your self some time. This haircolor is used in some middle eastern countries when they want black henna designs and not dark red. Again its not that serious its just a hair dye thats not permanent. I think made in China maybe.

  • i use that & its makes my hair SHINY & my hair actually is THick. once i dyed my hair ppl thought i had weave on. also my friend uses this and when shoes doesnt re touch. her hair turns BACK to her natural color.. hmm.. i guess depends on hair type.

  • Hello , Im a barber out of Houston.Tx. I dont use Begen. But a more safe semi-perm. color. Named Kiss Expess color. What are your views on this product? AKA J-WAY Da Barber. Celeb Salon Houston,Tx.

  • Good info! Bless You!

  • Good video!

And trust me! This sh!t does not wash out!!!

  • hi ms. mikko so would you say a rinse is better than a permanite color to cover gray hair? your so lovely thank the lord for you

  • Thank you so much for this video! I was about to go buy that crap and ruin my hair!

  • I used that product about 12 years ago (when I was relaxed) and my hair felt like straw. I remember going to a hair dresser after I used it....and as she was washing my hair she asked me if I had used Bigen. She could tell just by feeling the texture...it felt so course even after conditioning.

  • This information is sooo true! Bigen is really, really popular and I was using it for awhile. Luckily, I didn't have an adverse allergic reaction, but my hair is really dry after using Bigen and I felt like something wasn't right. I have now left hair dyes and rinses alone completely.

  • wow!God bless you!!!

  • What do u feel abou aphogee products

  • I wish I saw this before I put this in my hair the other day. I haven't had any side effects, but it's not what I expected. Wow!!! Thanks for informing us about the truth!

  • Ms Mikko...I luv you for this video....My hairdressers daughter told me to use this product when I was at the salon so since last May I have been coloring my hair using Bigen. Lately I have noticed the first of my hair is breaking off badly to the point I went to the doctor about it. Now I think its because of the hair dye...THANK YOU SOOOO VERY MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!!!!

  • good job

  • wow thanks for this video i saw the whole no ammonia thing and was nearly sold, i'll stick to my henna

  • oh my goodness! why didn't I find your channel a couple of months ago. I wear my hair natural and have alot of grey. Used a dye like this and my natural hair that I spent so much time and effort on is jacked up. It is dry, feels like it is about to snap, and now I don't know what to do because I have so much grey...what next?

  • Okay great info but how about ending the video with a good natural hair dye recommendation? Where do we go next? You've just left us! hahaha get back here!

  • i turned my hair a green after long term use.

  • great video, where is the salon located

  • Wow Thank The Lord I Researched This First. I Was Going To Use It, But Now I Changed My Mind. Thanx For The Video. PeAcE....

  • thank you so much for doing this review what would you suggest for coloring natural hair

  • I'll email the name...i have at work. Mine lasts for almost 6 months.

  • ok cool

  • Why complain about a product thats trying to help you.If people believe that hair dye is supposed to last permanently, then those people need to come back to reality.

  • Love all the info!!!!!! GREAT REVIEW!!!!!

  • thanks.. my mom uses it and no wonder the color doesn't last so long...

  • I used to use this color FAITHFULLY about 12 years ago. One day I decided I wanted to go lighter. The only thing that lightened (to a reddish color) was my new growth so I went back to black. About a week or two later, I had major breakage right at my new growth and chose to chop it off (I was about SL at the time). It wasn't until after the fact that I learned it actually stains the hair shaft. Haven't touched the stuff since!! Thanks for sharing this info

  • I just bought bigen and was getting ready to use it. Looks like im returning it tomorrow. Im now a natural and I don't want anything that's going to dryout my curls. I would rather not dye my hair at all but I have 3 different colors in my hair currently from dying in the past. I cut as much as possible out but I still want one solid color. What permanent dye do u recommend for naturally curly hair? Please help! Oh and I rated 5 stars and I'm subbing!

  • So maam what do you recommend we use - Because I use bigen but I need a good hair color to cover my gray . What is better then this

  • great video bigen does make other light colors

  • Another Great Video thank you!!! :o)

  • Thanks sooooooo much for this info. I've always been very scared of self coloring (Speaking of friends who tell me they do it themselves). I personally have never had coloring (self or professionally). Here and there, I'll think about it "utilizing a professional" by the way :). But, I think this excellent info. Keep doing what you do and remain blessed.

  • Very Informative, I didn't know all this stuff about hair dyes. I know people who swear on Bigen dyes, they should watch this video!! Which hair dyes do you recommend?

  • in your professional opinion, is Henna safe? can you please do a video on Henna? THANKS for the info!

  • I second that!

  • I don't relax and I have locks. I just put up a tutorial using Bigen, but I will definitely link your video to mine so people wont think I am endorsing the product. I am also going to do a hair color review and I will be telling them I DONT endorse this product. Thank you for this.

  • GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!!!
