@SuperOlds88 it usually does so I am making that assumption. until you measure each athletes arms I am going with what I have said. Just look at his speed compared to the others. Much much much faster yet the distances are close so that means that the radius has to be shorter. Use a little common sense before you come on here and make yourself look like a retard. facts are facts moron.
@SuperOlds88 no, I believe you are confused. you obviously dont know what you are talking about. so sad I had to make you look like a fool. oh wait, I just read your comments again. YOU made yourself look like a fool!
@SuperOlds88 its hilarious that the way you try to defend your statement is to make comments about gay sites and homo stuff. If you had a leg to stand on, you would respond back by explaining why you think Litvinov had a wide radius. But the fact is that Litvinov had a very short radius and you were totally wrong. You are just mad because I made you look like a fool. You obviously know nothing about hammer throwing, physics, and logic. so sad! loser!
@SuperOlds88 "Zero knowledge"?!?!?! hahahahaha look who's talking!. You were the one that thought Litvinov had a wide radius! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
@SuperOlds88 ok, explain to me the physics behind the reason Sedykh and Tikhon were slower in their turns yet threw about the same distance as Litvinov (.7 meters less). Also in your response explain the release height of Litvinov being much less than the others yet the distance is about the same. Since you are such an expert, I look forward to your explanations.
@SuperOlds88 is this your last response because you know you are wrong and you dont like me pointing this out! yes, I calculate the ball speed! duhhhh!!!! its sad you cant understand basic physics. and you still cant give me an answer for my questions. why not? Oh, I know, because you are a fucking retard that doesnt understand physics, logic, and common sense. I swear I havent talked to anyone else as dumb as you! if you think Litvinov has a long radius then you are retarded.
@SuperOlds88 come on, explain the physics! why dont you? oh, I know, because you dont know anything about physics. Its as simple as ball speed, radius (or length from the center of the turn), height of release, and angle of release. its as simple as that. I have mentioned these things yet you havent. why not????? you are sooooooo stupid!!!! hahahahahahahahahahah
@SuperOlds88 and it doesnt matter how flat or steep the winds are except for the final one which determines the angle of releaseand height of release. then figure in ball speed which is based on the speed of the turn and the radius involved. you of course have no knowledge of this. you just spout off nonsense! if you think Livitinov had a long radius you are the dumbest fuck out there. Even someone that knows nothing about hammerthrowing can compare him to others and figure this out! moron
@SuperOlds88 plus by being shorter, it makes the release point lower which drastically reduces distance. so how does he make up for it? by being faster! and since the distance of the others are similar, then logic tells you the radius is shorter! duhhhhhh
@SuperOlds88 Litvinov had the shortest radius of all the great throwers! He make up for his lack of height and length by being the the fastest. Have you ever seen Litvinov throw???????
@bench595 sure, Frank Litvinov, he went to Oregon in the 80s, coached by a guy from Miles City, Montana, named Stewart Bondarskolowskichuk. He also competed in the weight, I think his best was like 73'. His coach used to tell him "heed the ball laddie, for fucks sake"........I think his coach was some kind of foreigner, maybe from Wales or Ireland or one of them places where all they do is drink pints of beer and kick the shit out of Englishman.
@SuperOlds88 obviously we arent talking about the same guy. I am talking about Sergey Litvinov. They guy who threw 86.04 meters from the USSR. He is number three on the list of furthest throwers. He was short, had very tight short radius turns, but was incredibly fast.
@bench595 never heard of him. My guy, Frank Litvinov was about that height, but he had really little feet, so he used 4-turns, started with a toe-turn, I dont think anybody else does that. Frank was pretty fast too, he tried to stay in the "middle", sometimes at the end of his throws he would jump up and then stomp the ring when he landed. Very aggressive lad. He had a cousin that threw also, from back East, I think his name was Jud Loganowski.
@SuperOlds88 what??? if you never heard of Sergey Litvinov then you obviously arent familiar with hammer throwing at all! Why are you even watching hammer throw videos?
@bench595 maybe this Sergey Litvinov feller is related to Frank Litvinov. Where is Sergey from? Frank always looked like he might be a Scandinavian because he is blonde. I sure wish they hadn't changed the hammer itself. I remember when we used that one with the wooden handle, now they use some kinda cable or wire, oh hell, they turn so damn fast I cant get a good look at it. Did Sergey throw the wooden handle one or the new one? You say he threw 86' 4", doesnt seem that good.
@SuperOlds88 ok, now I see whats happening. You didnt know what you were talking about and the other guy pointed that out. You tried to argue with him but he knew what he was talking about and you didnt. You now are playing dumb and pretending that you were really talking about "frank litvinov". You made this guys name up so that you would have an excuse as to why you were wrong rather than admit that you dont know anythiing about throwing and the physics behind it. its pretty obvious!
@SuperOlds88 its hilarious that you wont get into a discussion of the physics behind it. you know you are wrong and you are intentionally avoiding the facts. anyone can see this. you are a true idiot. I read all your posts and I agree with the other person. he knows his shit and you dont. Why dont you open a book about physics and do a little reading before making a complete ass of yourself! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
@SuperOlds88 ok, then lets talk physics!!!! why are you avoiding the facts and the physics? well? I'm waiting. Are you trying to say that hammer throwing doesnt obey the laws of physics that are universal throughout the universe? why are you avoiding the discussion? its very simple yet you still avoid the questions! you are too embarrassed answer the questions which prove you were wrong! so sad that an idiot like you is so stupid that he cant even engage in factual material
@SuperOlds88 its hilarious you think Litvinov had a short radius. come on! are you that fucking stupid? seriously!!!! oh my fucking god!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
@SuperOlds88 and to answer you question, yes I am familiar with them. as well as a toe turn for a starting turn that some do. what the fuck does that have to do with the fact that you were dead wrong about litvinov having a short radius? well? whats the corelation? oh, I know, its because you want to avoid a discussion of factual material and physics. your attempts to get off the subject humor me and make you sound even more foolish than you actually are. bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
@SuperOlds88 hahahahaha I exposed you as an idiot with no knowledge. the other guy also exposed you as an idiot with no knowledge of hammer throwing also. its funny how you cant explain the physics behind it where as he and I can. wow, you just proved to everyone reading these comments how stupid you are. Litvinov has a short radius. Anyone that disagrees is a total idiot. sorry, you lose! bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
@SuperOlds88 jud logan was an american hammer thrower back in the eighties if I recall. Stewart togher is an old timer thrower. Bonderchuck was another old timer from russia back in the fifties or something like that. who the fuck cares about talking about other throwers though? I thought we were gonna talk physics so I can prove you wrong about your retarded statement about litvinov having a short radius! well dipshit, lets talk physics!
@bench595 right, Stewart Togher was an old time thrower. I think he competed in the 60s. He never reached great distances though because he never lifted weights. Imagine if he had known about Olympic-style lifting huh? He always threw one-handed so he could get a really really long radius. Plus it allowed him to drag the fuck out of hammer, which as you will agree is the key to great throwing. If Litivinov had a kid, he should teach him that one-handed technique. It really works.
@SuperOlds88 yep, keep avoiding the discussion. and for your information, litvinov does have a kid, and litvinov coaches him along with tikhon. keep being a pussy and keep avoiding the facts. I see you gave up on the other dude because he put you in your place and proved you wrong. hahahahahahahaha
@bench595 Litvinov has a kid? no kidding........Frank Litvinov has a kid too, his name is Frank Litvinov Jr. This Sergey dude, I read where he was like 5'2" tall, he did pretty good for little feller. Them European dudes all cheat though, they eat some kinda food over there that causes em to throw real far. I heard they do stretching exercises so their arms get really long, has something to do with throwing these heavy chunks of metal around, puds? is that it? is that what they are called?
@SuperOlds88 yep, keep making jokes instead of addressing the question at hand. whats the matter pussy? are you scared of being proven wrong? hahahahahahahahaha
@SuperOlds88 nope, a coach can work with whoever he wants. sure it makes more sense to get longer armed athletes but you are missing the whole boat. Litvinov had a short radius. thats a fact! its funny that you are too retarded to know that. see, once again you try to veer off course and avoid the fact that you are wrong. why do you continually avoid the discussion? with every post that you make that avoids the subject, you look like a fool. you are a true idiot
@SuperOlds88 all I am doing (and all the other guy was doing) was stating a fact. nothing more, nothing less. you were wrong and we were right. all you have done is shown everyone that reads these statements that you have been avoiding the discussion because you were too embarrassed to admit you were wrong. sorry old man, you lose!
@SuperOlds88 heres the deal. this is what it boils down to. The other poster and myself say Litvinov has a short radius. You say that he had a long radius. OK, you put down your reasoning for your statement including physics which cannot be argued against, and I will put down my reasoning with physics which cannot be argued against. Any comment you make that doesnt explain your stance is simply an avoidance....just like the last hundred comments that you have made. whats the matter? scared
@SuperOlds88 I'll be back on after work. that should give you enough time to look up some basic physics. I look forward to seeing your explanation! catch ya tomorrow morning when I log in!
@SuperOlds88 hey everyone. go back in the comments and read where SuperOlds88 said that Litvinov had a short radius! Now read all the comments he has afterwards. Notice a pattern? first, he gets proven wrong, then he tries to avoid the question, then he brings up things not related to the question at hand, then he tries to be sarcastic so he doesnt have to address the original statement in which he was dead wrong. wow, talk about patheic!!!!!
@SuperOlds88 you keep avoiding the discussion just like you did with the other person that proved you wrong!!!! bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahhahahhahahahhahahha
@SuperOlds88 come on fool, just admit that you were wrong and I wont make you look any more foolish. oh wait, you already made yourself look absolutely foolish!
@SuperOlds88 its simple physics and you have gone way out of the way to avoid me and the other person. whats the matter, did I hurt your feelings by showing everyone you were wrong. its as simple as the speed of the ball, the angle of release, and the height of release. litvinov was measured at having the fastest final rotation yet he threw less than tikhon and sedykh. what does that tell you. if you know anything about physics it tells you that his radius had to be less. duh!
@SuperOlds88 do you have some kind of childhood incident that has caused this deep obsession with you unable to admit that you were wrong? Why cant you admit you were wrong? Now listen to you. Now you state "I could care less about anybodies radius you freak"!!! Oh, is that so? Then if you could care less then why did you make the retarded statement in the first place? That other person and I have shown that you know nothing about hammer throwing, physics, and common sense! you lose.haha
@SuperOlds88 god I hope you dont have any children. there are already too many retards in this world. I bet if they took a physics class they would fail just like you did!
@SuperOlds88 and isnt it funny that in one of your comments you say there is no need for name calling yet you called the other guy a homo several times and you called me names too. wow, not only are you stupid, but you are a hypocrite too! fucking moron!!!
@SuperOlds88 yes, maybe I will get together with the other dude like you say. I like being around people that are right. I avoid idiots like you that are always wrong.
@bench595 you better print this page so you can frame it and put it on the wall like a trophy, you genius. You know, its easy to see why American hammer throwing sucked until Stewart came along, guys like you make the event boring. I sure hope you arent trying to coach anyone.
@SuperOlds88 hahahaha look who's talking. if you tried to coach anyone you would be telling them all kinds of fucked up things that would cause them to throw less distance. if you dont understand physics, you shouldnt even think of coaching or throwing. you are a true loser
@SuperOlds88 actually i think i will print this page and send it to your physics teacher in high school and tell them how the miserably failed at teaching you anything. fucking idiot!!! bahahahahahahahahahaha
@SuperOlds88 holy shit this is funny! I just read all the comments! SuperOlds88 you are nothing more than a dipshit retard that knows nothing about hammer throwing. Just like I said, the other guy said the same thing. I hope you realize how stupid your statements were! Why dont you at least know the subject matter first before you make stupid statement that can be proven wrong. I bet you are just some 12 year old kid on mommys computer that thinks he knows shit but in reality doesnt! dick
@zrx7769 Yo this superolds88 guy is messing with you all, the shit he said was too ironic to be his real views and thoughts. He's most likely a sharp-witted hammer thrower/fan. Also, speed and radius are not the only factors that go into the distance of a hammer throw. Conservation of angular momentum has alot to do with it, along with several other factors.
@bigjoshscherer What this guy said just hit the nail on the head. That cat was trolling you guys to piss you off and it obviously worked. He apparently knows what he's talking about, you can tell by with which his subject matter is so ironically stated. He's just trolling you guys because you'll get pissed off over nothing and he did a great job at it. Chill out people lmao
@SuperOlds88 I think the obsession is with your continued avoidance of the very first statement. you kept avoiding it because you knew you were wrong! you are nothing more than a fool!
@bench595 ok, it was more fun this way anyway. So the guy I was talking about? Frank Litvinov, he was from Casper, Wyoming, then he attended Montana State U, a good coach named Mike Carrigan got him started on the hammer......then he graduated, then he moved to Eugene in about 84-85, got coached by that foreign dude, Stewart Bondarskolimowskichuk. Frank is a lefty so its hard to coach him, but he still made pretty good progress, probably all that pud training.
@SuperOlds88 hahahahaha AND YOU STILL AVOID THE FACTS AND PHYSICS!!!! oh my god this is getting better and better with every post! keep avoiding it because you know you are wrong!!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
unbelievable way to work the ball around. he's slow but damn that ball is fast.

@zrx7769 litvinov has a short radius? I hope your kidding

@SuperOlds88 yes, he was shorter than most throwers, thus having shorter arms, thus having a shorter radius. however he had amazing speed.

@SuperOlds88 and isnt it funny that in one of your comments you say there is no need for name calling yet you called the other guy a homo several times and you called me names too. wow, not only are you stupid, but you are a hypocrite too! fucking moron!!!
bench595 1 year ago
@SuperOlds88 yes, maybe I will get together with the other dude like you say. I like being around people that are right. I avoid idiots like you that are always wrong.

@bench595 you better print this page so you can frame it and put it on the wall like a trophy, you genius. You know, its easy to see why American hammer throwing sucked until Stewart came along, guys like you make the event boring. I sure hope you arent trying to coach anyone.
SuperOlds88 1 year ago
@SuperOlds88 hahahaha look who's talking. if you tried to coach anyone you would be telling them all kinds of fucked up things that would cause them to throw less distance. if you dont understand physics, you shouldnt even think of coaching or throwing. you are a true loser
bench595 1 year ago

@SuperOlds88 come on grandpa, keep commenting. I love showing everyone how stupid you are!

@SuperOlds88 I think the obsession is with your continued avoidance of the very first statement. you kept avoiding it because you knew you were wrong! you are nothing more than a fool!

@SuperOlds88 "litvinov has a short radius"?!?!?!?! bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
bench595 1 year ago
