No, he did not try to kill himself in Rome. He overdosed on booze and pills. It wasn't on purpose. It wasn't until AFTER April 8th, 1994 that Courtney said he did in fact "try to kill himself in Rome a month earlier." It is complete bullshit...I was in high school when it happened...I remember the overdose in March of 94...NO ONE SAID IT WAS A SUICIDE ATTEMPT! NO ONE. Courtney turned it into that with her own story...yet she said the exact opposite while Kurt was still alive that month after.
