OMG i played this game when i was a kid, why you say it never came out? May be i got a leaked version or something cause all the laber said was ''The shadow" without any kind of art.
I remember there's a stage witha Bomb in a kind of pendulum and you have to destroy it.
How come everytime I play this, one of the bad guy sprites blinks with a bunch of garbled pixels? Your copy looks like it is running fine, as all the bad guy sprites look normal.
@Erudecorp I've played this before and invisibility is definitely one of the special effects.
Overall for a movie tie-in, this was a relatively okay game. It played itself and copied a tried and tested formula that resulted in a game that was fun to play for a little while after seeing the movie (or reading one of the pulp magazines or listening to the radio show). The only really annoying thing was the lack of the Shadow's cape (even though it was on the cover).
@bobinator1992 this looks like the european version. i got the ntsc-u beta. n the 1st guy u see in the red jacket / light red pants white t shirt (that comes in screen at 2:10 from the left). but the model is used over just diff colors. is glitchy (u cant miss it from normal character sprite to a white mass), an easy way to tell what version u hav downloaded.

It was released in Europe, I think, and a US version was planned, but it got canceled.
