First saw this band on BBC 2 Later with Jools Holland - promoting Emperor Tomato Ketchup ---went out Saturday Morning a bought it....been hooked on Stereolab ever since ....and thanks to Youtube have found loads more to listen too - Love this band !!!!!
@poyntsorrells Well said! That was the great thing about Tower Records (in Sacramento, CA), you could walk into their store and be instantly introduced to music that was foreign, yet familiar, all at the same time. Without Tower, I would have not discovered John Frusciante's 2001 "To Record Only Water for Ten Days." What a loss that would have been.
This is album was the first Stereolab album I ever bought. I loved them back then and I love them now. I only heard about them by chance. I'm so lucky I found.
Dots and Loops is a great album. Everyone who says Stereolab died when their music stopped being guitar-based can suck it!

Thank you for uploading my favorite Stereolab song. The horn arrangement in the intro section makes me think of Miles Davis.
