Nothing wrong with that, but I do have a problem with sharia law, morality police, and honor killings. I know that there are good Muslims, but the religion needs to evolve out of the dark ages before it can be called "peaceful".

hmm convincing argument, and really well done i must say. I enjoyed it and tend to agree more or less. tho i think its maybe to late. Ive already started using the term, and i have no problem with them calling them islamo fascists either, cuz deceptive and unfair and cowardly bullying will need to be fought on all levels regardless of what name ur gonna assignt to it. And the the only level thats really gonna make a difference to me in the end is one which is more within me than outside.

The term Islamofascist is nothing more than a word used to scare people who don't know anything about the country. I'm a Saudi expat and I have very serious issues with the country, but "islamofascist" is a buzzword and nothing more. The word is used by (and for) people who have a very basic and unclear understanding of the region. It's ambiguous and inaccurate. There are more specific and descriptive terms (like fundamentalists or militants).
