Hello people. Luke didn't die at the end of the movie. All we saw was him getting thrown into the river by the water trident. That doesn't mean he died. Plus, Thalia's tree wasn't a main thing in the first book/movie. We didn't actual know about it until the second book. So it's making its appearance in this movie.

They cant make another movie, and if they do then it will be totally messed up. 1. Thalia's tree doesn't exist which is the point of the quest, to heal the tree. 2. Luke is dead already and he is the one who poisoned the tree. 3. Percy and Annabeth don't start liking each other until book 4!! I'm a 12 year old girl and I live in Iceland. First, when Percy Jackson was in theater I wasn't interested in it. Then a year later I saw it for the first time. I thought it was a great movie. And now that I'm done with the first book (It was published this month in Iceland) I was really disappointed. The movie was so much different from the book! If they're gonna make a movie out of a book it's gotta be the same. It's OK if the drop a few scenes but change most of the story is not OK.

Just do you know, mister 'better option for Annabeth', Alexandria did just fine! In fact, in the scene where she shoots at the Hydra with her bow in the Pantheon, she looked like she was a Hunter of Artemis. So I personally think she was perfect.

Percy Jackson, the original film should have been the last one because the domestic gross, 88 million made less than the production budget 95 million, but for worldwide gross, it did very well. Making a sequel for this movie is a big risk, so I wish the sequel the best of luck on the box office performance.
People stop complaining about how the book was nothing like the movie. Be happy that they took the time to make a awesome movie. This is my first movie I saw that was based of a book I read and I still liked it. So yes they should make a sequel (even though the sea of monsters was my least favorite in the series) and I will watch it.
omg the first movie was an epic fail, because most of it didn't even follow the book, like how Percy is supposed to be in 6th grade, and he's in high school, which doesn't make sense, because the whole story leads up to when he turns sixteen. Also, they didn't go to Crusty's water bed shop! LAME! Crusty was the best part of the book!

Ok so i think that they should just start over. Theres plenty of 12 year old actors that look like the characters. I myself resemble annabeth (im 13 and an actress). But they hav already messed up the plot and characters so they should start over. They must include clarisse nd kronos if they want to hav the sea of monsters or any other books at that matter. I'm a 12 year old girl and I live in Iceland. First, when Percy Jackson was in theater I wasn't interested in it. Then a year later I saw it for the first time. I thought it was a great movie. And now that I'm done with the first book (It was published this month in Iceland) I was really disappointed. The movie was so much different from the book! If they're gonna make a movie out of a book it's gotta be the same. It's OK if the drop a few scenes but change most of the story is not OK.

Percy Jackson, the original film should have been the last one because the domestic gross, 88 million made less than the production budget 95 million, but for worldwide gross, it did very well. Making a sequel for this movie is a big risk, so I wish the sequel the best of luck on the box office performance.

This is my first movie I saw that was based of a book I read and I still liked it. So yes they should make a sequel (even though the sea of monsters was my least favorite in the series) and I will watch it.

omg the first movie was an epic fail, because most of it didn't even follow the book, like how Percy is supposed to be in 6th grade, and he's in high school, which doesn't make sense, because the whole story leads up to when he turns sixteen. Also, they didn't go to Crusty's water bed shop! LAME! Crusty was the best part of the book!

And if their gonna make another movie, I hope they put all of the stuff from the books in it. If they do, what about the Great Prophecy? Will they raise the age to 18 or something? Rick didn't choose this description for his amusement, obviously he intended for the appearance to have some roll in describing her character. But they make her dark and slightly scary and automatically head over heals for Percy. That's not how the series goes.
