I use this product and have screens with over 1000 prints on them using plastisol ink.. The graphic is still clean and crisp. I already had the printer and heat press so it was a natural evolution to save time and money in graphics I knew would be repeat prints.
CatspitProductions has always been included in my reference sites for folks with questions about how to begin screen printing.

@drunkclothingco You can do some fine dot and line work with this but the halftone needs to be on the larger dot size range. I would not try 4 color process or anything like that but maybe a 30 lpi 1 color halftone would work. Perhaps larger, you should experiment with it to see what works best. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
@drunkclothingco You are welcome. Make sure to use the Catspit promo code for RhinoTech and get your discount on this product. @yomkemewana Just some high pressure water from a pressure washer. Then maybe some haze remover if you want to clean the screen of any residue. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
Jon, you say that the laser printer must print "perfectly". I am wondering, it it didnt print perfectly would the system you demonstrate still work but just giving a "distressed" look? I mean with the imperfections showing up in the screen? hope you know what I am asking. great demo by the way, really appreciate it. hanks :)
@misterscreenprint Yes, the imperfections will show up in the stencil and print that way. So I guess it would depend on if you think the imperfection pattern looked good. Glad you liked the video. It’s my pleasure to help out. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
@CatspitProductions thank you Jon, you are a good man & i wanted you to know how much myself and others appreciate you for your time and trouble making and posting these videos. God bless you & take care.

Awesome looking product cracked up on the lazer printer comment. Anyway what about doing half tones with that product would they be possible? Also is that suitable to use any type of screen printing ink or just one kind?
@mahousel Yes, I finally have a new color laser printer on the way! Yeah!! Poor old crappy printer, I’ll still keep it for black only money saving prints. I have been told it can print water based and plastisol inks. I think you can do some halftones if the dot is big enough but I’m not sure how fine you could go with it. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
@esante00 LOL, I’m about to get a new color laser printer. But I’ll still use the old one too. Thanks for the support! Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
Love the process and so much cleaner than emulsion (even though I use cap emulsion). I have to test out my lazer and see how it works its been awhile since I fired it up. But back to the video. Does Rhinotech suggest how to clean the screens etc? Thanks for sharing this product and showing us how to use it. A always keep up the great videos. now show us how you go about lining up your shirts for printing lol.
@hiawatha100 Yes, you should use a pressure washer and maybe some haze remover if you need it. Check out my video collection as I have videos that deal with loading tee shirts on pallets and even setting up the screen to the pallet. Glad you like the videos. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
FANTASTIC looking system, but for us printers on a budget, the investment of a decent laser printer, and the heat press, plus the cost of the product (any reclaiming issues) would FAR outweigh the cost of conventional emulsion. True? ............btw, love your videos, your the first i check on my subscriptions page. FANTASTIC episode, keep em coming :)
@tourettestrickenshan Maybe so… if you want to use the sun or a work lamp to expose the screen. This method is an option for people who may like eliminating film, emulsion, dark rooms, exposure units and even emulsion remover. So in many ways it can compare economically with the traditional photo stencil method. Someone who already does heat pressing may love this option. Glad you like the videos. Thanks for the support! Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
@zerohouraustralia No problem, my pleasure. I hope you used the Catspit discount code on the Catspit website when you made your purchase! Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
So technically this is just like burning an image into a screen thats covered in emulsion, right? How does the image/transfer hold up after several passes? Thanks again for the video and tips.
@O2BIon Yes, that’s right. I have yet to test print with it. That video is coming up real soon. My pleasure to help out. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
@SCRainmaker Yes, I have seen some videos about that here on YouTube. A friend of mine who used to make signs would do it like that. It works very well for less detailed designs. Definitely a good method for spot color jobs. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
wow very interesting! Im wondering what you would use around the area of the stencil that is open screen? would be alot of tape to use up. and also how would you remove the stencil from the screen with damaging the screen? I know this is brand new to you, so ill wait until you do some trail and error first before you let us know your thoughts
@420jaymac You will use a pressure washer and perhaps some haze remover to wash out the stencil when you want to reclaim the screen for reuse. And you will need to tape off the portions of the screen which the dry stencil does not block. You can use screen tape or blockout to do this. Or even some old emulsion would work too. Thanks for watching & commenting! ☠
