Why does everyone immediately consider a band to be metalore/deathcore just because they hear like 1 chugging riff? So I guess Children of the Grave by Black Sabbath must be a metalcore song beause it chugs right?! I think people are losing their understanding of what the "core" suffix means. The reason why they have the "core" genres is because the bands have enough all-around hardcore influence that classifying them as JUST metal or JUST hardcore wouldn't be accurate enough.

and I highly doubt they sat around listening to nemesis and were like.. "DUDE, LET'S RIP THIS SHIT OFF!" bands with similar influences often come up with similar riffs as coincidence. just appreciate good musicianship. These guys are very talented.
