According to CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, today's trip marks Mr. Bush's 149th visit to the presidential retreat. The planned three-day stay, during which the president is being joined by family and former and current aides, will bring his total time spent at Camp David to all or part of 487 days.
Mr. Bush has made 77 visits to his ranch in Crawford during his presidency, and spent all or part of 490 days there.

1st. Obama quadrapole the deficit within one year and now hes trying to add another 1.3 trillion dollar, healthcare reform, on top of the layer debt we're already in. 2nd. Obama didn't keep his promise of pulling the troops out, so he's continuing the spend billions on the war. 3rd. Now he wants to add another similar stimulus bill only it'll be three trillion dollars this time. I'm not saying Bush is better but Obama is like Bush on steroids.

all the money Obama is spending is to try to get us out of what Bush got us into, i do agree with your 2nd statement, we should be slowly pulling out like was promised to us during his campaign. but if you remember the first great depression, we had to spend alot of money to get out of it, a recession like this doesnt just go away by itself. give it some time. but i know i proved myself right about vacation time. Bush vacationed way more than Obama, or any other president for that matter

@Ksmi55 Quabbling over his "vacation" time is so silly. The man is human. We work 8+ hours, but for most of us, when we go home we are done with work. He is always working...always talking to people and trying to figure out solutions by talking to people. He is the President. Hello?? Do you think he really ever stops working?
