"pani ari is a woman getting water." It should be paani haali" not 'pani ari' or 'pani hari'. In Hindi, paani haali would tranlate to 'pani wali' (where wali means the one with), so 'paani haali' literally means the one with water, or the woman getting water as you have put it.
