Gorgeous, this really shows that they are just two peas in a pod, now aren't they? At the same time, Damon and Elena are constantly causing each other to grow and grow. I hate to say it, but having been a big fan of Stefan/Elena originally, it's easy now to recognize that they were far too static. Damon/Elena, is for real. It's not fantasy, it's not complete bliss. But it's unyielding, under the skin, and concrete. The way real, true love binds two people.
