I am a former employee of the largest steel factory in America: North American Stainless. There, in the Big Bar Bay, they use some of the most powerful cranes in the world to lift large steel coils and bars. The maximum operating load on their most powerful crane was 200 tons if I remember correctly. They had a gigantic forklift with two massive poles in front to pick up the steel coils and at maximum, it could only lift 180 tons at one time. This is an incredible feat for any race of beings.
However the amount of weight I have seen modern machinery move pales in comparison to this. Immense is the word that comes to mind when I try to grasp how heavy these stones are. If you could conceivably lift one of these stones, it would take at least 40 of the world's most powerful winches and a panel of rigging experts with enough experience to make the attempt. Even still the amount of materials needed and the extreme danger involved would probably thwart the effort.

These stones might be heavy but they are quite easily carved and transported across today's interstate highway system in work vans and flat bed trucks. Some construction companies use small cranes to put them into place but in many cases all that is need to lift a 1200 ton block are a small group of Mexicans looking for work at Home Depot.

if a single human can pull or pull a train or bus,why couldnt they use rollers to move them stones.like he said you could use elephants and im sure they had plenty of slaves to help push/pull them too.no one knows the time scale on how long it took to build so how can you say it cant be done by human tecnoligy.

@TheStgmp44 Your right, but I work in construction man. If we didn't have the cranes, bulldozers, dump trucks, tractors, tomcats, seriously it would take forever to build one building. The Pyramids have 2 millions of stones weighing as much as 2 Cars, if you do the math you would have to place each block every second to finish this project. Slaves might of been forced to do this stuff, but the Astronomical layouts, and high mathematics, and weight of rock, indicate something else entirely.

@SwaggerLikeUz i too work in construction.i actualy work in what was a forgotten tecnology plumbing.the roman's invented lots of stuff including underfloor heating,hot and cold running water systerms,viaducts,steam rooms,glass but to name a few things that disappeared when the Roman empire collapsed.they could of moved the stones by leverage with a trebuchet type crane.where they would load smaller ballast into counter the weight of the main stones for lifting and swiveling into position

Pyramids, after thousands of years, are still level. Sit on of those level rule sticks on them and it's perfect. No "mad-mad" buliding has withstood time like those have. Our buildings crumble if they don't receive upkeep. No one's taking care of those pyramids. They're standing on their own. Look 100 years before that at the pyramids built. They're falling apart, bottom to top. So we obviously we'rent that smart. No way in 100 years we figure it out.

The human mind is a very predictable thing. We need answers. Answers to the meaning of life, where we go when we die, how things came to be, etc. It's only natural that when something exists where we don't have a full understanding we will choose instead to believe in something we cannot prove, such as aliens coming to Earth and building these platforms. It all seems like an awful rush to judgment to me.

@mellowmark1 You're right, there are thousands of buildings in use today that contain 1200 ton stones, and some that are much bigger. These stones might be heavy but they are quite easily carved and transported across today's interstate highway system in work vans and flat bed trucks. Some construction companies use small cranes to put them into place but in many cases all that is need to lift a 1200 ton block are a small group of Mexicans looking for work at Home Depot.

@fywacia there is no modern buildings today that contain single piece 1200 ton stones the largest stones in a building ever found are in baalbek lebanon three of them each weighing around 800 tons were used in the construction of that temple , the largest crafted stone in the world is around a quarter of a mile away from baalbek it weighs 1200 tons and no modern equipment could possibly lift it except maybe a advanced crane , but the weight of that stone exceeds the limit of almost all cranes
