This is what happens when people buy at big box stores. The sales associates at lowes dont know anything about carpet. Its not just mohawk that makes that kind of carpet... all carpet manufacturing companies make this carpet. If you want your carpet not to shed you get carpet that is made of a bulk continuous filament.. If you would of went to a small family owned carpet store, they would of told you that.
