@BrendanHunt1 I didn't consider the rohypnol in rome and how (given kurt's amnesia) it could be so easily perceived as a suicide attempt. The Frances Barnett part is also curious given that "her" site was removed in the mid 2000's as you say. Of course the person who 'leaked' that information would want to remain anonymous, hence the pseudonym.

So far this looks like a plausible, well-informed paper and I look forward to reading the whole thing. There's a reason why this story won't die.

-morphine in his blood 1.52mg: a lie by the seattle post intelligencer citing "a source".The autopsy is confidential.

-lack of fingerprints: bullshit, 6 fingerprint cards were lifted.

-the note: a washington state handwriting forensic determined it was written by Kurt. What other experts with bad copies printed from the internet think is not legit. You need the original to see where the trace of a certain letter starts and ends, pressure, etc.
