I think the album is finished, it is just the label that is procrastinating and is nervous that it won't do well because of Rihanna and Alicia Keys recent releases. And the album isn't called "Stronger" anymore, it is called "Stronger withEach Tear."

Thanks for correction, it is called "Stronger with each Tear", but I disagree with you about Alicia and Rihanna. Mary will do just fine no matter who drops an album. I believe Mary has a strong hold on her career, The live performances that she has done this year alone so far already has that album sold!

I think she can do fine too, it is a label issue. Usually when a label decides to push back an album these days, it is to maneuver around other artists of high magnitude who are releasing an album. The album was set to drop at first on Nov. 23rd. That day Rihanna, Shakira, and Lady Gaga's rerelease was dropping. She probably will sell well because usually no one releases albums at the tail end of the year but her, but I still think her promotion this time around has been low compared to before.

And I have you know I do know who she is, I have a couple of her albums, one of my faves being GROWING PAINS, which I was quite upset that the label didn't push it as much as THE BREAKTHROUGH, cause it was an excellent album. I even saw her perform this very song for the first time LIVE at the AMAs, so I know my stuff.

they did the same thing with GP and BreakThrough kept pushing it back til Christmas wk and then Bam 730,000 and 630,000 1st wk of her sales!!! So they obviously know what their doing with SWET especially putting it out on the 21st!!! BreakThrough= Dec.20th GP=Dec.18th..The more i guess it was into Christmas wk the more inflated the sales would be and i love it.. the preorders have forced the album to climb the charts highly already before the release..

Well yeah, a Christmas release I guess is a easy way to get sales. Cause there is always last minute shoppers trying to buy some good music right before Christmas,. Regardless about her release date, her promo has been slow this year, but then again, so has everybody else's.

Yeah, it is picking up NOW. But don't normally when an artist gets ready to put out an album, they have about 2 1/2 months prior of promotion. Like back in 07, "Just Fine" released early October, and her album came out in December, but that album was never pushed back though. This year she tried for a November 23rd release, but found out it would be too much competition with Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Shakira's release, so the label resorted back to the usual Holiday release.

Appearances Alone.. she been on TV alot since sept. and before that keeping herself relevant in the public eye.. she's been in a movie on soundtracks and on the big screen, AMA's, Summer Jam,VH1HipHophonors, 2 commercials so far.. 2 songs n videos.. She was the Yankees good luck charm because her 1st time performing National Anthem live at Yankee stadium n they won the world series and it been a decade.. plus more she been very relevant int he public eye and her album leaked

In sept. she was on GMA David Letter Man and Jimmy Fallon.. she performed stronger 2x and the One at Jay Z concert .. she been at 2 Jay Z concerts if not mistaken and she been feat. on Sinead O Connor song to mother you and Andrea Bocelli song and performed with him on Oprah(Promo) and at an early Christmas concert on TNT and Live in NJ
