Aaaaaaahahahaha! Obama's housing plan won't help the hardest hit areas which are the outer states on the west and east coast and Chicago. CHANGE? You've got it, you'll be living on the streets while Obama pledges 900 million to rebuilt GAZA for his Hamas terrorist buddies.

Killer video. I remember people in the Bend, Oregon market telling me that Cali's implosion would not effect central Oregon very much. Guess again. Bend is on it's frikn knees and Portland is majorly hurting now too. Like tree roots, these markets are completely intertwined. Nice work Mortgage Man. Keep spreading the word.
Excellent info, thanks for posting. I'm in AZ and live in a nice upper middle class neighborhood with very nice homes. I'm seeing alot of houses for sale, and some that were clearly abandoned and have just sat there for months. Maricopa County (which includes Phoenix and surrounding suburbs) had a record number of Notice of Trustee sales (over 6600) in June! I know personally know at least 3 people who have just "walked away" from their homes and let the bank take them back. Unbelievable.
Im watching this in the UK, really interesting seeing whats happening "over the pond". Could it be that whats happeming in California / USA could happen in England?, as house prices here have just about tripled since 1997, and very recently seem to be starting to reverse in value, and there is zero confidence in the market.
yes, perhaps. a big component will be the ease of financing. If that eases up, things could be better sooner. If they came back out with all the exotic loans, we would be healed in a year!
The fact that 25% of homes were sold for 50% off at auction and still over 96% went back to the bank is the biggest thing in this report imo. How much is it going to take to clear out these auction homes?

homes sold at auction decreased 4.8%... real strange read here... perhaps large banks put a moratorium on foreclosures...
this guy works for the enemy and says thats what his company is doing there:

Anybody who buys right now is asking for it!
When will organic sales take over the market again? Probably about 2011-2012. That will be the time to buy.

If I wasn't ridiculously interested in the topics this guy covers I would still watch for his introductions alone.
