Does anyone know what it is she actually says about the camerman? I have this concert on DVD and it was 1979, so in answer to a couple of other youtubers comments; she was 40 years old, and i'm not sure about her being 'off her tits' but she did shed a few tears (on other songs) and was quite emotional throughout. Poor Dusty, lovely woman, lovely song, great performance all considered.

this was an unrehearsed concert, so the cameraman was doing closeups on her and it caught her offguard. She decided to "ham it up a bit" which got the audience going too. She was laughing and said "he gets paid for that". "I wish I did". This was a very relaxed concert and they were having a very good time. When you are relaxed like this in a concert that is when the audience really responds and you respond right back. Its a great high, trust me.

Thank you ghostoftexas1, you won't be surprised to hear i'm a little deaf in one ear, no matter, i can hear the songs okay, thankfully, it's when she says something with a giggle is when it goes a little muzzy on me. i have this concert on DVD and what i meant by emotional earlier was, one of her backing singers had to hand her a tissue to wipe her eyes,. Emotion? Contact lenses? Who knows, fantastic woman whatever it was.

Ya' know, as great as Babs is, maybe knowing she can't touch Dusty on this song has made her not want to record it. This song takes great breath control. You can't just blast through it like Whitney Houston or Christina "Skinny"lera. You have to feel it.
